[STORY] FOR BETTER FOR WORSE (Episode 09)

Episode 09.

I was asked to stay back at the family house for sometime to fully recover. He was scolded and made to refund all my hospital bills to the pastor. He did everything they asked him to do, including apologizing to me. My mom accepted all conditions except returning back to his house.

Everyone begged mama but she refused until my pastor intervened. She accepted the pastor’s plea with the condition that he will monitor me and ensure nothing happens to me.

I received the shocker of my life when I returned back home. The actions and relations of our compound people made me uncomfortable when I returned. The show of pity for me was extraordinary. It is normal to pity a woman like me but their pity seem to carry some messages.

Three days later, Aunty namesake called me into her flat when my husband was away to work. I call her aunty namesake because she also bears Anita. You have suffer so much Anita, and we can’t watch you suffer more, aunty namesake said. My heart was panting like a drum set, I tried to guess but my mind was completely blank. What is it aunty namesake, please tell me, I begged her.

While you were away your husband was bringing different ladies to the house. You may need to be careful so he won’t infect you with disease. Please be careful and don’t put up a fight with him. She advised me. I thanked her and left her flat.

When he came back from work I didn’t raise the issue. I allowed him to sleep, then I went through his phone. To my greatest surprise my husband had impregnated a lady.

She was three months pregnant for him and he was happy about it. When I saw that I knew I had lost my marriage. The battle was over, I need to move on with my life.

Should I just walk out of his life?

Should I face him with all the evidences?
