Episode 15.

By AMAH’S HEART.

I know I have been hearing of money ritual but I used to think is just a story, I hardly believe such stories and never witnessed anything like it before.
It was through this baba I believe that truly money ritual is very real and very dangerous too

I was very scared and shaking all over immediately baba fell and passed out.

I know the time will be around 1am in the midnight but I didn’t care as I kept screaming while running to the sitting room where Ayomide was.
On getting there, he awaken and asked me what was going on.

He said he slept off all of a sudden and kept hearing my scream in his sleep.

He saw the way I was shaking and asked me what happened, he asked about the Baba.
I was breathless as I try to narrate what happened and how baba suddenly fell to the ground and died
He did not quiet understand because I was saying everything too fast.
I try to calm down but I couldn’t because my heart was racing.
I told him clearly that Baba was dead.
He screamed and rushed to see for himself, on getting to the room he realized what I was saying, he saw the man’s dead body on the floor right on the same spot where he fell.
My husband began to pray, he asked me not to move close to the man.

I was seriously shaking and kept wondering what exactly strike baba and why he choose to come to our house to die. This was a big problem, a heavy trouble.
How do I get out of this and the sad part is dragging Ayomide into this.
He warned me not to go anywhere or invite the man but I never listened.

I thought the man was a solution to my problem, I thought he will bring answer to our long years of childlessness.

Instead, he came to do money ritual that I never asked for or wanted. I was truly contented and if not I don’t know what could have happened if I made attempt to touch those hard currency, I could have been gone too or even both of us.

I was so scared and confused on what exactly to do.
My husband ran back inside and brought out two Bibles, he gave me one and we went back to where the man lay dead and began to pray.
Ayomide was seriously firing prayer and I was screaming Amen at the top of my voice.
He prayed for over thirty minutes before he place a hand on the man but as I watch hoping for some miracle the baba remained lifeless on the ground.

Ayomide asked me to stop panicking that God won’t shame us.
He said God will remove this trouble from us and I screamed Amen again but I couldn’t stop shaking.
He stood from the man, like a sign I saw his toes move a little.
I thought I saw it, but it all in my imagination.
Ayomide said we need to go to the lady that introduce him to me
Funke’s house was a distanced away from us.
This was about 2am midnight.
I was praying and asking God to intervene. I was pleading for forgiveness and asking him to have mercy on me. I was really confessing my sins and begging God to save me.

All I was seeing was prison, I will be accused of murdering the baba and my innocent husband will be dragged into the mess.
Who will want to hear our part of the story, there was no witness, nobody can save us from the trouble in front of us.
We will be arrested and locked up in prison for killing the baba. The story may even get twisted as people will have a different version for it.
Our lives will be totally ruined.
my Ayomide, the man that never stopped supporting, praying and caring for me, the husband that God handpicked for me, his life will be destroyed because of me. His only crime in all this will be because he wanted me to be happy by agreeing for me to invite the Baba to our home.
I was really begging God to lift off the heavy load that befall us if not for anything but for Ayomide that entrusted all he had on him.
Ayomide’s faith is equal to none, God should because of him have mercy on us.
I was praying at one side while Ayo was equally praying for baba to wake up.

before leaving to Funke’s place we locked up everywhere.

We got to funke’s house and I began knocking repeatedly on her door.
She refused to open because it was an odd hour, what sane person will be knocking on the door by that time.
Ayomide did not stop praying all through this period.

I kept shouting Funke’s name and explaining who was at the door so that she will understand that is not bad people.

She later opened and came out, her husband followed behind. From her look she was wondering what was the urgency that made us wake them up from sleep.
I quickly narrated everything to her and told her that the Baba was dead. We needed her to come and see for herself but Funke looks scared said she wasn’t going anywhere.
I pleaded for her to follow us but she refused and said she was not going anywhere.
Is our cross we should carry it alone, after all I was the one that invited him.
I was not in the mood for argument, I kept asking her to please follow us atleast she will be a witness because she was the one that introduced me to baba. But Funke refused to consider.

Ayomide said I should leave her, he kept saying that God won’t shame us, he will prove himself in our situation.
Ayo said he had prayed and believe wholeheartedly for God’s intervention and he is only waiting for the miracle to manifest and it will.
He said we should go back home and as I turned to go, Funke’s husband said he will follow us to come and see for himself.
Funke try to discourage him but he said he was going just to see what we’re talking about.
The man followed us.

On our way home Ayomide suddenly began to thank God for what only him can do.
He said he haven’t seen the miracle yet but he believes deep down that God was at work already.

When we got home, we went straight to the room that Baba was and unlocked the place.
Immediately we opened it Baba was alive, holding onto the door knob and trying to force it open.
Baba was really awake, he was alive.

Ayomide began praising God, he was thanking God for not allowing shame and reproach in his home.
While Ayomide was praising God for the miracle of bringing Baba back I remained speechless, I was totally in wonder.
That man was dead, he was as still and cold. How come, how is he alive again?

I was both happy and scared as I wonder about truly how mighty is God and how he was quick to come to our aid.

I asked Baba how come. Baba said some strange hand tapped him awake, something woke him but he doesn’t know exactly what happened.

I was shocked seeing baba alive, I joined Ayomide in thanking God.
This was way too much to take all in at once, just in one night.
This was almost 4am in the morning.
To Be Continued… . . .
