Xiaomi POCO M7 Pro 5G in new pre-launch leak
It is claimed that the Redmi Note 14 series will arrive soon. In light of this, three upcoming smartphones have been detected in recent weeks, either through regulatory bodies or through leakers. In light of this, it is anticipated that Xiaomi would prioritize the Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus before concentrating on other models in the early of 2025.
That being said, this is only applicable in China, where Xiaomi usually releases new Redmi Note models first. Recently, the Federal Communications Commission in the United States approved what appears to be a worldwide variation, as reported by many sources. This is not an exact replica of the Redmi Note model, please note. As an alternative, it appears Xiaomi plans to sell the Redmi Note 14 5G alongside the POCO M7 Pro 5G.
Please note that this would not preclude Xiaomi from releasing the Redmi Note 14 5G outside China as well. In fact, Xiaomi pulled a similar trick with the POCO X6 Neo, which is a reworked Redmi Note 13 (curr. $217 on Amazon). Unusually, the FCC has provided hands-on photos of the POCO M7 Pro 5G, which it refers to by its model number ‘2409FPCC4G’.
Thus, it is evident that the POCO M7 Pro 5G will launch with two rear-facing cameras and a flat display, as will the Redmi Note 14 by extension. Moreover, the FCC confirms that the POCO M7 Pro 5G supports NFC and runs HyperOS 1.0, which should come as no surprise. Unfortunately, other details remain unknown for now, as does a global release date.
