[STORY] MY INFERIOR HUSBAND (Episode 13)

Episode 13.

Ikechukwu father tried all he could do to ensure his wife kept mute but she objected and was just shouting that it was over her dead body was her son allowed to marry an Edo girl ,that we are mostly prostitute and she would not allow her son to marry a prostitute as a wife.

Ikechukwu tried all his best to prove that I was not a prostitute but a decent lady. I had almost cried out my eyes because I could not afford to loss him.

He was rich,handsome, godly, caring and showed me what true love was all about even when I had given up on love.

His mother could not even pretend to like me in my presence and later tell her son her real mind behind. I cried, pleaded and promise I was a good girl and not a prostitute and witch like she thought.

She said she believed all Edo people were witches and prostitutes ,We told her it was just a false concept and even if it was true ,it was not a generalize true.

After all our pleading fell on deaf ears,I had to return back to my base .Ikechukwu followed me back home begging me to give him more time that he was going to settle it and his mother was going to accept our union.

His father called me and beg us on behalf of his wife and that she was going to accept us.

Deji called me to ask about the outcome, I could not talked but I was rather crying because age was no longer on my side and two of my younger sisters were already married and my parents were already asking me for a spouse .

Ikechukwu was the reason my parents was still keeping their cool since they knew I was in a seeious relationship and we could get married anytime soon but Ikechukwu’s mother was already a threat to my plan.

I told my parents when I was a bit settled,I was already threatening my parents that they were carefree about my marital life and they were not interested with my life ,after all my pleading , my mother told me to send her number that she was going to visit them . My mother went the following day and was disgraced by his mother. My mother called me and told me she was never going to allow me marry ike anymore with the way she was disgraced by his mother.
I was already angry that she could disgraced my mother.

Ikechukwu ‘s mother refused to consent to our union even after we pleaded.

My parents told me to visit them during the week they had important things to share with me to help me.

I was angry with myself, my parents, his mother and God for all this mishap . I just wanted to wake up and found out it was all a dream but alas it was never.
