[STORY] MY INFERIOR HUSBAND (Episode 25)

Episode 25.

I decided to follow my mother instructions as I believed I could actually manage him since my time was already running and I could not find any better guy .

Dave was loving and caring, he was not stingy and was so jovial that you would always want to be with him.

It was during this time that I got promoted at my workplace and I was given a special program to anchor but this did not go well with him. He was so angry and tried all possible way to stop me from anchoring the program. This turned into a serious fight but I was not ready to step down from the program after all my efforts to get to where I was.

Dave tried convincing me that women place was in the kitchen and they should be obedient to their husband instructions, he believed he could shoulder my responsibility with his money and his money was sufficient to cater for us in years yo come as he was rich. I knew I could not depend on him because he was a proud person.

I knew if I decided to quit my job,it was not going to be easy for me because he was going to make me feel less of a human.

It was a surprise when he decided to let me continue with my job . I was happy he agreed and we continued our relationship after he told me he has changed.

Our relationship continued but do you think Dave has changed ?

EPISODE 25B.

It was a beautiful Saturday when I got a call from home that my presence was highly needed at home that my son was really sick and I should try and travel back home that very day.

I wanted to decline but my son’s life was involved and I could not afford to be careless and carefree with him.

It was difficult getting a leave permit from my boss but I was finally given after I tendered my reason.

I got home the evening of that day only to be met with the greatest shock and surprise. It was a totally different event from what I expected.

Dave actually proposed to me in the presence of my family. I could not believe a man was finally proposing to me for the first time in my life.

I was happy as I accepted the ring. It was a dream come true. I could not believed I was tricked by my family and Dave just to proposed.

I posted it online immediately as I tagged it ‘At last finally engaged’

It was a surprise when Ikechukwu congratulated me even though I was congratulated by lots of my friends .

I knew I finally arrived after God decided to honor my request after a very longtime of asking.

A part of me knew I was making the wrong and worst decision of my life but I was clouded with my desperation to be married just like my friends and siblings. It did not matter what I felt but my desire to marry was seriously at the peak.

I believed I could manage whatever am been faced with in marriage.

It was a celebration galore for my family that at age 38 I was finally getting a man I could call my own.

We choose the wedding date that very day since both families were around. My mother was really happy for me.

Dave’s younger sister called me aside during the party to discuss an important issue with me but I was occupied with the planning and celebration that I promised to visit her soon as I was so busy.
