BBNaija: I regret some things I did in Big Brother’s house — Ruthee

Ruth Akpan, also known as Ruthee, was a housemate in the just finished ninth season of Big Brother Naija (No Loose Guard). She stated that she felt special to be given another chance in the BBN house, even though she was not given the opportunity to fight for the prize money.

In an interview with Sunday Scoop, she said, “I did not feel bad for returning to Big Brother’s house even though I went back as a guest the second time. I was happy I got a second chance because it doesn’t happen every time and that made me special.”

Reflecting on her time in the house, Ruthee acknowledged having some heated moments with fellow housemates, admitting that she regretted certain things she said. However, she emphasised her desire to move on and not revisit past conflicts.

Addressing misconceptions about her personality, Ruthee clarified, “I am not rude or proud but I work with energy. I could be in the same space with many people and be cordial with all of them. But, if the vibe is not giving me what I want then that’s a no.”

Ruthee also revealed that she is not a fan of make-up but likes having her lip gloss with her every time.
