Banky W move to the US with family

The well-known Nigerian R&B singer Bankole Wellington, well known as Banky W, moved to the US with his family.

The head of Empire Mates Entertainment made the announcement on Instagram, stating that he will be attending Georgetown University in Washington, DC, to obtain a master’s degree.

Banky W requested his fans to give their best wishes as they begin this new chapter alongside a picture of himself, his wife, actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington, and their kid at the airport.

It was well known that the 43-year-old artiste was born in the US and married Adesua in 2017.

The artiste contested for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency in Lagos State in Lagos more than once but didn’t win.

In his Instagram caption, Banky W, on Monday, wrote, “For family. For finding purpose.

“For the next year of earning a Master’s degree in Policy Management at Georgetown University in Washington DC.

“Wish us well.”

Reacting via the comment section, his wife, a renowned actress, Adesua wrote, “Home is wherever you are.”
