Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 global rollout plan leaked
Xiaomi has launched HyperOS 2.0 in China. However, the company has not revealed the global device deployment strategy. A fresh leak has surfaced online, giving a probable list of devices that would be among the first to receive HyperOS 2.0 globally.
According to news source XiaomiTime, the Xiaomi 14 and 13T Pro will be the first to receive the HyperOS 2.0 upgrade, which is based on Android 15. According to the source, these two phones will receive the latest update in the fourth quarter of 2024.
After that, there is a list of offerings that will be receiving the update in Q1 2025. The list includes the flagship models, including the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 13 series, and 14T lineup. The upper mid-range offerings include the POCO F6 lineup and POCO X6 Pro 5G. Additionally, the list also includes affordable options including the Redmi Note 13 lineup, Redmi 13, and Redmi 12.
HyperOS 2.0 comes with many improvements over the last version. It brings a lot of new AI features helping users in tasks such as writing, painting and translation. Additionally, HyperOS 2.0 also brings a new feature called HyperConnect, allowing seamless file transfer between Xiaomi and Apple devices.
