SUSAN’S REVENGE Story by Ayo Omolayo _ AllNaijaEntertainment

Episode 21.

It’s been three months after Mr George became Brother George. An experience I will never forget. I’m so glad for my sisters in Christ. They all made Jesus proud that day.

One by one they had a moment with George and told him how Jesus saved them and commanded forgivenesss.
They all forgave him and treated him like a completely different person. Even when George tried to bring back memories and failed to resist the spirit of guilt, they waved his wrong doings aside.
I added George to our WhatsApp group and he got to learn alot. It’s so wonderful to watch Jesus transform a man. A man I once hated and wanted to kill. Funny me!

I was so taken by bitterness and sought revenge at all cost. But God was so merciful that he didn’t allow me to destroy myself with my actions. He sent Ella to me and restored me back to himself.
I was the most happiest person on earth. Because, George was truly a disciple to the call. All of us started receiving alerts.

I was surprised when I saw the alert of two hundred and fifty thousand naira. It was then I recalled he was making his restitution to me. If he had told me, I wouldn’t have permitted him to do so. I had more than enough to take care of myself.

I spent alot of my free time during working hours with Bro George, teaching him God’s word.
He had a lot of questions and I was so glad I knew the answers. He once told me he was struggling to believe he was actually a new creation.

“What’s really different about me? It’s still the same George. Those people who see me in the streets still look at me as a foul stinking man. They don’t see anything new. All they see is thean they once hated and still hate”.
I smiled and nod in affirmation.

“Months ago, I moved into my dad’s house. I packed all my stuffs. Anyway, I had so little. After a few weeks in my new house, I discovered something was missing. There’s a particular cup my mentor gave me when I left for service.
It was a treasure to me. I never played with it. Of all the cups I had, it was my favourite and the best. When I searched the house and could not find it, I decided to check the former house where I lived.

On getting to the house, I had to cross the street to reach the compound. As I crossed the gutter, Something caught my attention. I stopped to see what it was, and there was my missing cup.
I remembered when I was leaving. Some of my stuffs fell around that area. We had to stop the vehicle to get them back. I never knew this cup rolled over and sank there.

My mentor cannot give me something and I leave it in a gutter. God forbid! How can a pastor give you something and you leave it in a gutter? I took it out and went home with it.

I gave it thorough washing and restored it back to its rightful place. The Holy Ghost started a Bible class as soon as I was done washing it.

He said that was how the life of a man who newly gave his life to Christ looks like. He’s like that cup. The contents in this cup was once dirty water. But now it has been washed, cleansed, purified, justified and made Holy.
Anyone who saw the cup before, would still assume that it’s the dirty cup holding dirty water. But they are wrong. What changed was not the cup. No, the cup was not changed.
What actually changed about the cup was it’s content”,
“Wow!” He chuckled.
“Yes!” I grinned.

“The cup was once containing filthy water. But the cup surrendered itself to the dish washer and he cleansed him. Now that cup holds clean water.
George, you are that cup. You once had the Devil living inside of you. He made you do the filthy things you did in the past. But now you have surrendered yourself to the Lord Jesus. He has cleansed you. You are now holding clean water.

So forget about those who still assume you are dirty. The transformation happened in your Spirit and in not your body. Don’t worry, it wouldn’t take long before they see that this is a changed man”.
“Thank you so much Susan!” He said smiling.
“You have really been a blessing to me! May God bless you!”
“Amen!” I said smiling.

George was really growing fast. Just after two weeks of his conversion, he got baptized in the Holy Ghost. He told me he was observing his quiet time that morning, when he suddenly felt like there was a burning in his chest.
He opened his mouth to pray and that was how the tongues started coming out. I could see how excited he was that day.

Hmmmm! It’s amazing! Discipling my boss. Everyday was one testimony, one revelation from a scripture or some testimony of God’s faithfulness.

Everyday brought smiles to our faces. Mr Wilson was not left out. He was so happy for him. He told me that George’s salvation have been his prayer point a long time ago.

The only thing that made me a bit sad was when my converts, one after the other started leaving Queens high school. Some them told me that though they had forgiven George, seeing him everyday was enough to remind them of the past. Mostly, their immoral affair. Having a fresh start meant they had to leave.

Some told me that they had planned to leave only when George gets born again. Now that he was, they had to. Although Sophia didn’t leave of her will, but she did anyway. She got married last month and left for Enugu with her husband.

Some told me God instructed them to leave that he had an assignment for them. The point is, they all left. I was the only one who was not permitted to leave.
“Lord! When am I leaving Queens high school? What am I still doing here?” I asked as I prepared to leave for school.
“YOU HAVE A SOUL TO TAKE CARE OF!” He replied.
“But George seems to have grown faster. I think he’s better off without me”, I replied.
“SEE YOUR MOUTH!” He replied.
I started laughing. I could also feel the spirit within me laughing.

“I never knew George was such a kind soul. Truly, there was a good man hiding inside him. He was struggling to come out, but held down by the Devil. Hmmmm! Now he’s the most nicest person I’ve ever met”,
“YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN!”
“Daddy stop! I’m serious!” I chuckled.
“But I’m curious! What else make you keep me here, apart from taking care of your son?” I asked.
Come and see God giving me suspense.
“Daddy say something na!” I said, almost shocked he wasn’t saying anything.

Whenever God was acting this way it meant two things. One, either he was expecting me to figure it out by saying that thing that he’s suggesting as a feeling in my heart. Or it would become clear in a few minutes.

I had an idea of what I was feeling. But I was so afraid of saying it.
“No it cannot be true!” I said bluntly.
“WHAT CANNOT BE TRUE?” He asked.
“Are you trying to tell me that George, never mind!” I said.

“NEVER MIND WHAT? YOU ASKED ME A QUESTION AND YOU ARE RUNNING AWAY FROM THE ANSWER!”
I grinned and took my bag. My phone started ringing. It was George calling. I smiled broadly.
“HMMMM! WHY IS SOMEBODY SMILING?”
“Leave me Jor!” I chuckled.
“Is it a crime to smile?”

“NO! I WAS JUST CURIOUS WHY YOU WOULD SMILE WHEN IT IS MY SON CALLING”
I laughed so hard that my stomach tighened.
“Daddy! Stop oooo!”
I swiped the green bar and placed the phone on my left ear.
“Hello!” I grinned.

“Susan! Please I need you here in the next few minutes. As soon as you get to school, meet me in my office”, he said. He wasn’t sounding his usual self. He sounded angry which increased my fear.
“It is well!” I whispered to myself.
“Is anything wrong?” I asked.

“Yes! And we cannot discuss it on the phone, so start coming please!” He said and before I could say anything further, the call ended abruptly.
“Lord what is going on?” I asked.

“WHY ARE YOU AFRAID? BE AT PEACE. GO AND MEET HIM. HE’S WAITING TO MEET YOU”.
I breathed down and took my bag. I drove calmly to school. God helped me to resist my fears.
“I know all is well!” I said as I walked towards the door of George’s office.
As soon as I was about to open the door to George’s office. A police officer, opened it and walked out.

“Jesus! Police! What’s going on?” I asked.
The police officer didn’t look at me. He just walked away.
I opened the door and found George pacing around in his office.
“No! No! It can’t be!”He muttered loudly.
“Lord what’s happening?”
To Be Continued… . . .
