Episode 05.

“May I seat with you,” A voice said and disrupted Dammy’s thoughts.

Dammy looked up, it was her class captain, David.

“Sure,” she replied uncomfortably.

David was a very handsome guy and was in the same class with Dammy. He was also intelligent and was the class captain in his class. He had a lot of secret admirers and almost every female student in Dammy’s class had an eye on him. He always dressed nice and neatly.

“How are you doing today?,” David asked as he sat down and stared into Dammy’s eyes .

“I’m fine,” Dammy replied coldly as she raised her head down to avoid David’s stare.

“Are you sure? You are free to tell me anything,” David said with a charming look on his face.

“I said everything is fine. Why are you disturbing me?, Dammy said with a high tone.

“Hey, Calm down. I didn’t mean to get you angry or disturb you. I just care about you,” David said as he held Dammy’s hands.

“I’m sorry, I reacted like that. I’ve been behaving weird recently,” Dammy replied.

“I overheard your discussion with Mr Philps today, would you like to talk about it,?” David asked.

“What! ,” Dammy said and separated her hands from David’s hands. “Have you been stalking on me?”

“No, I haven’t. It’s just coincidental, trust me,” David replied.

“Okay, so, what exactly do you want from me?,” Dammy asked curiously.

David looked at his wrist watch to check the time. After that, he brought a paper and pen out of his pocket and scribbled something on it. “The break time is almost over. This is my phone number, send me a hi on What’sApp and Id like to chat with you,” David said as he gave Dammy the paper.

He rose up from the chair he was seating and said to Dammy, “I have to go now. See you later dear”.

David walked away leaving a confused Dammy behind.

“What does he wants from me? I wonder what he is up to ” She said as she picked up the paper David had dropped earlier.

“Dammy! Dammy! Dammy!,” Mrs Ololade shouted.

Dammy became startled as she stood up from her bed where she was taking a fruit juice and reading her notes. “Oh my God!

What’s it again this time? Is my mom back from work? ” .

Dammy said as she walked towards the kitchen where her mom’s voice was coming from.

“Welcome ma,” Dammy said feebly.

“So, you can still greet me,” Mrs Ololade said and landed a slap on Dammy’s cheek.

“Mom!”, Dammy shrieked as she held her cheeks.

“You want to know what you did right?,” Mrs Ololade said and brought out the pot containing soup. “When I was going to work this morning, there were twelve pieces of meats in this pot. I came back from work and I found ten pieces of meats in the pot. You were the only one in the house. Dammy, what happened to the meats?

“Mom, I didn’t pick any meat,” Dammy said in tears.

“Liar! Dammy, I didnt raise a thief in my home, when did you become one?”, Mrs Ololade said and landed another slap on Dammy’s cheek.

“Mom, I didn’t open the pot at all not to talk of taking meat from it. Mom, trust me”, Dammy said crying profusely.

“I do not trust you. I’m not a kind of mother who would spoil my child by not correcting her. You need some spanking to reset your brain. After I’m done with you, you would never steal again “, Mrs Ololade said and started spanking Dammy.

Dammy felt miserable. After Mrs Ololade was satisfied with the punishment she had given Dammy, she left the kitchen and went to her husband’s bedroom. She received a shock when she got to the bedroom..

On the bed, was her husband watching the television and sipping juice from a glass cup with two pieces of meats before him. Mrs Ololade was totally confused.

“Darling, you are back from work?”, Mrs Ololade asked trembling.
