[STORY] MIRACLE (Episode 10)

Episode 10.

“A lady sent me”, she wants her dead and I want her dead too,

“Why brother, why are you still doing this you promise to change, What was her offense?”

“I and my friend kidnapped her at a time, the fear of her implicating me get me involved in this”

“Brother, promise me you will not harm her” He groaned in pain.

“Why did you guys beat him to this extent” he glared at his boys

“Boss, na you say make we torture am”

“Charles, don’t leave me please I won’t do this anymore” he wept bitterly. After some minutes Charles gave up the ghost.

“I’m finished my only brother is gone” he ran hastily to his house, two of his boys ran after him, while others disposed of Charles’s body. He knocked on the door.

Fear gripped Keji “Who will be knocking on the door so hard like that, Charles said I should not open the door for anybody. If it’s Charles he would not be knocking” She muttered in fear.

“Oga wetin we dey do for here,” one of the boys asked

“To ensure the Lady is safe” he cried. “I owe that to my brother”

“Then let’s break the door” the boy suggested

“No more violence please, you can leave, I will sit here until she opens the door” They left him.

Keji was so worried, “Charles come back now, is getting late, you ought to be back by now, I’m scared” she cried.

She opened the door to peep. Oscar held her hand, covered her mouth as she wanted to scream “I’m not here to harm you, you remember my face right, Charles is my brother he sent me to you”

“Jesus! Jesus!” Keji said panting

“Listen, a woman sent us to take your life. My boys swung into action, I got fully involved when they show me your picture, I’m scared you might leak the secret of what transpired between us. I never knew my brother was involved until my boys kidnapped him yesterday”

“What! kidnapped?” She exclaimed, “Where is Charles, who is this Lady?”

“She said you snatch her friend’s husband. She won’t go free, trust me she made me kill my brother”

“I hate you, tell me Charles is still alive”

“No, he’s not” he stammered

“Then finish what you started, kill me” she locked him by his shirt “You impregnated me, you ruined my life”

“You are pregnant!” He exclaimed

Keji fell on the floor wailing, she suddenly felt a pain in her back and stomach, she groaned as blood flowed down from her private organ.

Oscar rushed her quickly to the hospital.

“She had a miscarriage” the Doctor announced.

Keji was discharged she involved the police, they arrested Oscar and his boys.

Clara called Mercy “Mercy I’m in trouble I run a pregnancy test now and it’s showing negative”

“What! I taught you confirmed it before”

“I did not oh, what will I do now”

“Don’t tell Nelson he will send you parking, let’s think of what to do”

“How about that other level?” Clara asked

“She should be dead by now, Dara will follow” both laughed

Mercy wasn’t comfortable, “Charles is not coming to work, I did not hear feedback from Oscar, what is going on” she murmured. she sneaked to Charles’s house, peeped through the windows, and saw Keji lying on the bed. “This guy did not do what I ask them to do,” she thought for a while “I know what to do” she went to the nearest filling station bought fuel, sprinkled it round the building, and lit it.

“What have I done, why are mine doing this” she cried and shouted; “fire!”. The people in the vicinity rushed out, they tied extinguishing the fire but couldn’t. ” someone is inside” Mercy cried. They call the firefighters.

Benjamin called Nelson. “Hello come over please we have an emergency in the city!”

Nelson jumped up from the bed and began to dress up “Where are you going by this time of the night” Clara nagged seizing his shoes.
