Clara continued dialing the number till the recipient picked up. “Hello Mercy, is me, Clara”

“Oh Clara how are you”

“I’m fine, please how can I get that your baba number, I mean your native doctor’

“Ah, Clara for what?” She asked surprisingly

“You are surprised, don’t worry I will give you the full gist when I return to Lagos”

“Ok, I will forward his number to you now, don’t call him, he won’t pick up, you can only text him. Tell him is from Mercy, so he can reply quickly”

“Thanks my friend. See you later, bye”. She ended the call and quickly typed the message: “Good day Baba, I got your contact from Mercy, she told me how powerful you are. Please I want you to do love charm for me, I want my husband to choose me over every other woman”. She sent the message and waited for his reply.

After a few minutes, she got a reply “Baba Afe got your message your charm will be delivered in two days. Deposit 25,000 to the account number below”

“2days time? that’s too far” she murmured. She made a cash transfer, sent her location, and waited impatiently for the
Charm.

Keji and her husband sat far away from Clara, “I want to tell you something and I don’t want that witch to hear our conversations” Keji said “I had a dream, we are in a beautiful building and it suddenly caught fire, everything we worked for went down”

“God forbid” Nelson cut in

“The interpretation I got when I woke up is that you learn fire extinguishing, luckily their company is not far from us. I don’t want you to start looking for a government Job again get handwork”

Nelson laughed, “Honey no, that can’t be the interpretation, I think it means danger” If you want me to learn fire extinguishing I will but I think we should pray fervently”.

“Is ok I want you to go there tomorrow and make enquiries I will continue my food vending business also, with the money pastor Moses gave me”

“That is a good one”, Nelson said

The following morning, Keji informed Dara they will be starting their business. They began preparations Clara noticed some things about Keji “Seems she’s asthmatic, I will make life a hell for her once my charm start working on Nelson” she muttered silently

Nelson left home to make enquiries as discussed with Keji.
After some hours, Keji and Dara left to sell the food they prepared.

“Imagine she finish cooking and can’t even ask me to taste from it, you will not sell,” she said bitterly. A message landed on Clara’s phone “Your love charm is ready, go to the nearest bus stop to collect it with a balance of 15,000 the prescription is on the container” she rushed down there happily. She read the prescription on her way back home “Rob the powder on your face, make sure the man is the first person you’ll see after robbing it, you will get his reactions immediately, after three days, but the remaining powder in his food, he will love you till he dies”

She got home before any other person, she overheard Nelson exchanging pleasantries with some persons. “He’s coming,” she said happily robbing the powder on her face, she opened the door just to see Nelson and another man. Both starred at her in admiration.

“Clara meet my pastor; Pastor Moses” Nelson introduced cheerfully
“You are beautiful” Pastor Moses complimented.
