[STORY] Do It Like A Dude (Episode 29)

Episode 29.

It was my time to burst out laughing. I clapped my hands together laughing and looked at Tom who was glaring at me arms crossed with a shade of red on his cheeks, probably from embarrassment.
“Not cool” Tom declared pointing his finger at me in anger but he realized how his face must have looked like when he screamed and started laughing with us.
“I’m going to the gym, okay?” Asked Tom looking at me with a raised eyebrow and I nodded. He looked like Jack Sparrow from ‘The Pirate’s Of the Caribbean’, weird.
After Tom left the room I looked at Drew and sat next to him.
“What are you watching?” I asked but he decided to ignore me because the movie was so ‘amazing’.
I hit him on his stomach making him look at me as if I’m crazy.
“What’s wrong with you?” he cried out and I shrugged turning to the movie. I scowled when I saw what he was watching.
“Dude, you’re watching titanic?” I looked at him like he was an alien that came from Mars but he didn’t answer because he was too into the movie. I sighed and slumped on the sofa, I guess I’m stuck here then.

“Oh my gosh, that was so touching.” Drew sniffed and I rubbed my temples. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I pick Tom instead of Drew, and you all know how Tom is.
I growled gritting my teeth and looked at Drew who was busy wiping the tears out of his eyes. What the heck?
They say guys don’t cry, well they’re definitely wrong considering the weeping boy that’s crying over Jack’s death because he saved Rose. I came closer to him and awkwardly patted him on the back saying comforting words. This is so uncomfortable, I feel like a mother comforting her child.
After a few seconds Drew stopped bawling and took a deep breath then stood up. He looked at me in the eyes “Don’t tell anyone I did that.” He held up a finger and I nodded.
“Sure oh and Drew.” I paused “We have a race tonight.” I continued and saw him crack a smile.
“We are soo going to kickass.” Said Drew and I agreed.
I got a hangover, WO-oh!
I’ve been drinking too much for sure

I got an empty cup

I looked at Drew who was tapping his foot loving the beat and rolled my eyes. Just great, I totally forgot that when Tom enters the gym the house becomes a zoo from the noise.
Tom always puts rock, RNB, Jazz or rap when he’s in the gym. It’s wonderful to turn the house upside down with new music but it’s not great when your neighbors call the cops saying that they’re trying to sleep but there’s high music from the ho0use next to them.
“This song rocks.” States Drew and I nodded agreeing with him. I will not lie, the song’s awesome! I always loved Taio Cruz’s songs, they’re full of energy.

I heard footsteps coming my way and looked around spotting Ryder coming our way smirking.
“You know your neighbors will call the cops telling them about the high music right?” Asked Ryder and I nodded not really caring whether they’re going to call the police or not. It’ something natural when you see a cop at our house.
“Yeah but the music’s worth it.” I said and tapped my foot with Drew who was shaking his head back and forth enjoying the song.
I couldn’t stand it anymore and rushed to the gym room. With each step I took the music turned higher.
I got a hangover, WO-oh!

I ran faster and opened the gym door so hard it almost collapsed.
Oops?
I looked around and spotted Tom in a white tight shirt that clung to his body from the sweat. It’s a miracle! Tom isn’t wearing a baggy shirt.
The gym was colored in red and blue. When you enter the gym there’s a long big wall in front of you that is covered in mirrors. There are all the gym machines and outside the gym there’s a small inner garden that has a regular sized pool.
I’ll give you this as a warning, don’t mess with the guys when they’re working out because you’ll be thrown in the pool and get out dripping wet.
Drink up, cause a body in a body til you ride, I’d do it
End up on the floor with cameraman you clueless
Officer oh what the hell you’re doing

“Nice choice Tom.” I shouted over the music and saw him give me a ‘salute’ before he continued walking on the machine.

“Work it out Ryder, you can beat him.” I screamed over the music. Ryder and Tom had a bet saying that Tom can do more pushups than Ryder. Ryder having so much pride disagreed with Tom and said that he can make more pushups than him, so right now they’ve reached the 120 pushup and Ryder’s getting exhausted.
“I thought you were with me.” Panted Tom and I shook my head like a little girl making Drew chuckle, I almost forgot he’s here.
“Nope.” I made sure to pop the ‘p’. I leaned against the wall of mirrors crossing my arms looking at both of the guys doing their pushups.
“I’m with Ryder and always will be with him.” I stated and saw Ryder stick his tongue out making Tom growl.
I heard Tom mutter traitor and I shook my head smiling. All of a sudden the electricity went out and everything went black.
“Guys?” I asked but no one answered.
“Boo…” someone tried imitating a ghost and I rolled my eyes, they’re such losers.
The light went on and I looked at the guys with a confused look on my face.
“Uh, what just happened?” asked Drew and I shrugged having no clue what just happened a few seconds ago.
Tom nudged Drew by his elbow making Drew look at him in a serious way
“What?” demanded Drew and I saw Tom fighting a grin.
Oh God what is he going to say now?
“I bet it’s the aliens that I saw last time. I heard them talking about abducting some kids, you being one of them.” I said in a hushed voice and I fought back my laughter.
“Ha-da-flikidi-ha, I may be stupid Tom but I’m not that stupid!” Said Drew frustrated and all of us burst into fits of laughter while Drew looked at his feet.
Aw poor Drew, but I have to say that was really funny.
Ryder slapped Tom on the back laughing while saying that ‘it was a good one’. I rolled my eyes and stood next to Drew putting a hand on his shoulder. Drew pulled my hand of and walked away saying “If anyone needs me, I’m in the theater room.” He looked so angry and I saw some hurt in his eyes.
Once Drew exited the gym I turned to the guys with clenched fists.
“What the hell is wrong with you guys?” I demanded and both Tom and Ryder stopped laughing seeing how serious I was.
“Aw, come on Skylar it was just a joke.” Tom defended himself and I rolled my eyes.
I put my hands on my hips and glared at both of them.
“It may be a joke to you but it really hurt him, couldn’t you see the look on his face?” I asked both of them begging them to answer me but there was no reply.
Tom had regret written all over his face while Ryder was looking at his feet ashamed, well they should be!
I walked out of the gym fuming and ran to the theater were Drew said he was going to be.
I opened the door and was greeted with empty brown leather seats and silence. I sighed and started looking around. The theater was all red except the sofas that were brown. We had a huge flat screen T.V. and our own popcorn machine.
I spotted someone sitting on the front sofa near the screen, its Drew. I ran to him and saw that he had his face in his hands. I walked slowly and sat next to him.
“Drew?” I asked and his head snapped in my direction sadness written all over his face.
“It’s okay, they were just joking.” I said and when he didn’t reply I continued “You know how Tom and his jokes are, you don’t have to get all emotional over it.” I pressed and he sighed.
Drew was about to say something but the theater door opened, Tom and Ryder entered looking nervous. They looked at me and I smiled in encouragement.
They got near and stood behind Drew, I counted to five and as I expected Tom and Ryder started rambling about how sorry they were. It was funny seeing them like this, so nervous.
“Guys” Drew said but both of the bull dogs kept on rambling their apologies.
“Guys” Drew shouted and both of them shut up “its fine, we’re cool.” Said Drew and did the man hand shake with Tom and Ryder.
A few seconds of silence passed and I decided to break the silence.
“Glad that went well but-
My phone rang and I looked to see the caller ID, mom.
Oh this is not good!
