Still Early To Crown Arsenal EPL Winner But Kudos To Mikel Arteta
Except we all just want to pretend, Arsenal FC is currently doing well. Courtesy of Mikel Arteta‘s vision to scout for talents to make patches to his already ’almost lethal’ squad, I mean, who would have thunk letting go of Lacazette and Aubameyang to bring in Gabriel Jesus from Man City would be this good?
While some of us would always credit his coaching skills to his time under Guardiola, it is also important to admit that he is a genius. It is one thing to learn techniques, another is mastering and doing the right things with it. Arteta is currently rightly using his coaching skills at Arsenal FC.
The first ever back-to-back straight EPL win for Arsenal dates back to the 2003/04 season when the legendary Thierry Henry won the only gold trophy in EPL through an unbeaten run. Could this be another unbeaten streak for Arsenal to reclaim the gold trophy again? Well, we’ll see.
Although in a real sense, Arsenal is still yet to face a proper challenge. Aside from Leicester City who of course hasn’t really been their best after the second half of the 2021/22 season, Arsenal is still yet to battle a tougher opponent to affirm their ability to challenge City for the 2022/23 EPL trophy.
However, it is important to credit Arsenal’s mastery for cooking his men beautifully against Bournemouth where Saliba shined brightly to win 3-0.
Gabriel Jesus to Arsenal is like the missing piece Arsenal has long been looking for, some even said he’s the payoff for Arteta from Guardiola for serving under him ‘cos why would he had let a genius like that go in the first place? Same goes for Zinchenko.
💬 “I would like to dedicate this victory to him and his family…” – Mikel Arteta

While Arsenal fans all over the world are celebrating their unbeaten run, they should also prepare their hearts for heartbreaks because Arsenal’s real challenge is still yet to come. Well, let’s see how it goes in their next game with Fulham.
