Shittu will never become Oyo state Governor – Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri, an aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan has said that Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu, cannot become a governor in Oyo State.

Omokri revealed this in his tweet while reacting to Shiitu’s statement on former president Olusegun Obasanjo’s lengthy advice to Buhari.

According to Omokri, no amount of insults by Shittu on Obasanjo would make him a governor.

He said: “No matter how many insults Communications minister, Adebayo Shittu, heaps on Obasanjo, it won’t make him governor of Oyo in 2019.

“Shittu is not politically savvy. Obasanjo is far more popular in Oyo than Buhari. Shittu may end up as the fly that follows the corpse into the grave!”

Recall that Shittu had once attacked Obasanjo over his controversial statement written to President Muhammadu Buhari.

He accused the former president of engaging in sensationalism, adding that he was not in a position to dictate to Buhari.

Shittu and Oyo State governor Abiola Ajimobi are reported to be at loggerheads over the Minister’s ambition to become Governor in 2019.
