Chukwuma Ruth, popularly known by her stage name as ruth chuks, is a young Nigerian gospel minister,stage performer and a very idealistic individual, she was born on 30th of January in the western part of Nigeria, she is originally from Enugu state in the eastern part of Nigeria, she is the fifth child in the family of seven.

She was born a christian.She began singing at the tender age of four when she joined the children choir of her local church,bible life church in Lagos, Nigeria.

Her influences are Tasha Cobbs, Kierra Sheard, Abbey Ojomu and Sinach. She has performed in concerts in Nigeria, and is the convener of undiluted worship, an annual worship event that brings together some of the finest worshipers in the ministry.
