RedMagic 10 Pro and RedMagic 10 Pro Plus to follow RedMagic Nova global release with huge ultra-bright displays
The RedMagic Nova was introduced worldwide by ZTE less than a month ago. However, the company is already getting ready to introduce a new mobile device with a gaming focus. ZTE will first introduce its next RedMagic product in China, as is usually the case.
However, there is no reason to suggest that ZTE will refrain from offering new RedMagic products outside its home market at some stage. Thus, its forthcoming RedMagic 10 Pro and RedMagic 9 Pro Plus releases will likely serve as a preview of what it is to come globally in early 2025. For reference, the pair will officially debut in China at 15:00 local time (07:00 UTC) on November 13.
In the meantime, ZTE continues to share new information about its RedMagic 10 Pro series smartphones on its RedMagic Weibo account. Specifically, it has confirmed that both smartphones will feature a huge 6.85-inch panel sourced from BOE. Moreover, this display is said to have a 95.3% screen-to-body ratio thanks to 1.25 mm thick bezels complemented by a new iteration of ZTE’s under-display camera technology.
Furthermore, the 6.85-inch display boasts a 1.5K native resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate, compared to 120 Hz for the RedMagic 9 series. Similarly, ZTE reports that RedMagic 10 Pro and RedMagic 10 Pro Plus will be the first smartphones to offer 2,000 nits full panel brightness. As always, we would recommend waiting for independent reviews to arrive before passing judgement in this regard.
