Razer refreshes Viper V3 Pro as exclusive Sentinels Edition of a fast gaming mouse

The new Razer x Sentinels partnership may be based on the Viper V3 Pro, which was rated the Best Mouse for Valorant by prosettings.net in August 2024.

In addition to the brand’s (current) fastest “true” 8,000Hz HyperPolling Technology, the new co-branded mouse features the same Razer HyperSpeed Wireless technology as the standard V3 Pro.

The Sentinels Edition also boasts the same Focus Pro 35K Optical Sensor Gen-2 as other up-to-date Razer mice, as well as in-house, Gen-3 Optical Mouse Switches.

It is also one of the lightest (albeit not the lightest) Viper-series mice at 54 grams (g). However, it is also the only version of the Viper V3 Pro that comes in red out of the box.

Accordingly, If you’ve ever wanted one of Razer’s best symmetrical right-handed (and RGB-free) wireless mice in a non-standard shade, the new Sentinels Edition might be for you.

It comes at a premium, though, having been priced at $179.99 (or €189.99) directly through razer.com, whereas the standard V3 Pro remains at $159.99 in either black or white on Amazon.
