PSG rule out signing Gianluca Scamacca

The Paris Saint-Germain board have decided to rule out the signing of Gianluca Scamacca, the Italian striker who plays for Sassuolo. Christophe Galtier will settle for Hugo Ekitike.

One of Paris Saint-Germain’s main objectives in this transfer window was to add a striker for next season. In that sense, the Parisian club achieved their goal and announced the signing of Hugo Ekitike.

In view of this situation, the PSG board have decided to rule out the signing of Gianluca Scamacca, the Italian striker who plays for Sassuolo.

Christophe Galtier, PSG’s new coach, would settle for Ekitike and give a new chance to Mauro Icardi, who could stay at the Parisian club, despite his name being on the transfer list.

Scamacca, meanwhile, could join West Ham, who would be willing to offer around 39 million euros to sign him in this transfer window. It remains to be seen whether Sassuolo will approve his departure.

The 23-year-old striker has had a good season in Serie A, has been called up to Italy’s national team on several occasions and has attracted interest from several major clubs in Europe, so it seems that he will not remain in Italian football.
