Pedri blames referee for Barcelona’s first league defeat
Barcelona‘s first league loss of the 2024–2025 season, according to player Pedro González López, was caused by referees.
In a post-match statement that was received through BarcaUniversal’s X Twitter, Pedri reportedly questioned the referee’s judgments about Barcelona’s lack of a penalty and Osasuna’s second goal’s validity.
Prior to their second goal, Pau Victor committed a very evident foul, and Lamine was clearly given a penalty. The referee has not treated us fairly.
The Blaugrana had a brilliant start to the season, winning all seven league games before suffering Saturday’s 4-2 defeat to Osasuna.
Barcelona will host Young Boys on Tuesday, 1st October, in their second Champions League match, after losing to Monaco away in their Champions League opener earlier this month.
