Gov Ifeanyi Okowa to give Super Eagles $25,000-a-goal vs South Africa clash
Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has promised to reward the Super Eagles with $25,000 for each goal they score against South Africa on Saturday.
Okowa made the promise when he addressed the Eagles after their first training in Asaba this evening.
The Eagles lead Group E of the 2019 AFCON qualifying tournament with nine points from four matches, a point ahead of second-placed South Africa.
They now need only a point to qualify for next year’s AFCON.
Libya and Seychelles are the other teams in the group.
