Future Sounds Vol.16 featuring , Raebel, SeunMusik, Folabi Nuel, Major AJ and more
Here are ten new songs added to the Future Sounds playlists. We can’t wait for you to hear them.
This week, Raebel, SeunMusik, Folabi Nuel, Major AJ and others appear on Future Sounds, a playlist on Pulse Nigeria that showcases new and rising stars whose sounds should dominate the future in the near future.
1. Raebel – Miniskirt
Raebel is a talented young singer with a one-of-a-kind skill set. She possesses enchanting vocals that captivate the mind and heart, which she employs to deliver sultry Reggae & Dancehall songs with a delightful pop twist. Her soothing melodies and penmanship help her create relatable songs.
Raebel began her music career in 2019 when she signed with Konvest Music with the goal of becoming one of Africa’s biggest singers. In 2020, she released the singles ‘Raevel’ and ‘Durotimi.’
2. SeunMusik – Activate
SeunMusik is an eclectic Afro-fusion artist who has emerged as a burgeoning force in the ‘next-up’ generation of artists. With a distinct sound and a one-of-a-kind voice, the singer-songwriter is establishing himself as a potential superstar, and he is back with a new single titled “Activate.”
This is a follow-up to his previous release this year, “Falling.”
“Activate” is a catchy collection of sounds and syllables that reminds the listener that summer is for going on cruises, letting go of feelings, and having fun.
3. Folabi Nuel – Seamless
Folabi Nuel is a seasoned gospel minister who has served many life-changing songs and albums to the listening ears of many over the years of his ministry. He is best known for his singles ‘Yeshua’ and ‘In My Boat,’ both of which spent weeks at the top of the gospel music chart.
4. Major AJ – Taboo
Major AJ, a gifted Nigerian Afrobeats songwriter, singer, and rapper, makes his musical debut with the mind-blowing hit track ‘Taboo.’
Similarly, ‘Taboo,’ from his recently released album ‘Retroverse EP,’ is a wonderful song.
5. Preyé – Malibu
Preyé returns with ‘Malibu,’ a summer-ready single inspired by her trip to the California city, following the highly successful release of ‘Red Wine,’ her first single from her upcoming EP Don’t Look Down.
‘Malibu’ combines Preyé’s soulful voice with dreamy synths and an infectious bass line.
The smooth R&B-inspired chorus and production make this timeless record feel like a picture-perfect summer scene.
Preyé was recently chosen as one of six artists for Spotify’s Africa Month global campaign Spotify Sounds Of Africa, alongside LADIPOE, Zo Modiga, Nomfundo Moh, Chris Khaiga, and Nikita Kering.
6. Ria Boss – Somali Rose
Ria Boss, a talented singer and songwriter, is back with this sensational and trending single titled ‘Somali Rose.’
Furthermore, this track was taken from the new project, ‘Remember’ ALBUM, which contains 11 tracks featuring T Neeya, Ko-Jo Cue, and Joey B.
7. Lava Lava – Desh Desh
Lava Lava, a talented Tanzanian singer-songwriter and WCB Wasafi label signee, debuts in the music section with a spectacular hit song titled ‘Desh Desh.’
Lizer Classic and Gopa Beatz were also part of the song’s production team. It comes after his previous long play, ‘Promise.’
In essence, ‘Desh Desh’ could be considered a distinct anthem song in which Lava Lava expresses his love for the young women he adores.
8. Ayomide Sounds – Yawa Dey
Ayomide Sounds, a Nigerian singer and songwriter, has released another sensational hit single titled “Yawa Dey.”
Finally, if you enjoy good and decent music, this is a magnificent tune that deserves to be in your music collection.
9. Ashidapo – Ballon Dior
Ashidapo, a talented Nigerian recording artist, enters the music scene with an incredible hit single titled ‘Ballon Dior.’
Furthermore, this is a fantastic smash single that you should not overlook for anything.
10. Ade James – Money For Hand ft Liya
Ade James, a Nigerian musician, collaborates with Liya, DMW’s first female artist, on the new banger ‘Money For Hand.’
Finally, the fantastic new melody is a fantastic track that will undoubtedly deserve a spot on your playlist if you enjoy great music.
