Ex Super Eagles Coach, Oliseh Reacts To Nigeria’s Win Over Iceland
Former Nigerian international, Sunday Oliseh, has commended Super Eagles forward, Ahmed Musa for his brilliant second half display which earned Nigeria a 2-0 win over Iceland.
Nigeria beat Iceland 2-0 in a 2018 World Cup second group game at the Volgograd Arena on Friday.
The Leicester City winger became the first Nigeria player to score in consecutive World Cups.
Oliseh on his verified Twitter page, while congratulating the Eagles, described the match as a great result against Iceland.
He said he was impressed by Ahmed Musa, Wilfred Ndidi and Uzoho’s performance during the match.
“Our World Cup 2018 is on! Great result for the Super Eagles vs Iceland. The boys all did well especially in d 2nd half, particularly impressed with Musa, Ndidi, Uzoho & Balogun.
“Great that you all supported and prayed like we implored earlier,cheers guys,” Oliseh tweeted.
