Poco C75: Xiaomi releases new Poco smartphone
Xiaomi has now welcomed the Poco C75’s worldwide release, which seems to take the place of the Poco C65, which made its debut less than a year ago and costs $137 on Amazon. The Poco C75 was actually previously introduced by Xiaomi, albeit under a different name.
Specifically, the Poco C75 is effectively a re-branded Redmi 14C, which Xiaomi only unveiled in August. Thus, the Poco C75 receives a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra with ARM Cortex-A55 and Cortex-A75 CPU cores, plus a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. Additionally, Xiaomi has included eMMC 5.1 flash storage, LPDDR4X RAM and a 5,160 mAh battery with 18 W wired charging within a 171.88 x 77.8 x 8.2 mm and 204 g housing.
Moreover, the Poco C75 finds itself with a 6.88-inch IPS display that outputs at 720p with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 600 nits (HBM) peak brightness and 70% colour space coverage. Meanwhile, camera hardware is covered by a 50 MP primary sensor, an auxiliary rear-facing sensor and a 13 MP front-facing sensor capable of 1080p/30 FPS video recordings.
As the image below shows, Xiaomi claims to have priced the Poco C75 at $109 with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Alternatively, the handset should be available for an extra $20 with 2 GB more RAM and twice as much storage. Please see Xiaomi’s website for more details.
