Liverpool Without Sadio Mane Back To Factory Reset?

What really changed? Is Liverpool missing Sadio Mane so much that they can’t even concentrate and record a win in their first three games without him or they’re just simply having a bad start of the season? Either way, Liverpool needs to work harder!

I know both Darwin Nunez and Thiago Alcantara were off the pitch, but it definitely wasn’t always the same for Liverpool’s meeting with Manchester United in the last 6 games. Tonight, it was all different.

A little flashback; Liverpool drew its first game against Fulham, then went ahead to clash with Crystal Palace on another draw before finally losing to Manchester United. One can’t but wonder if it’s the same ‘used to be’ Liverpool that’ll thrash Manchester United without stress were the team that battled with United at Old Trafford tonight.

Well, well, while we might wanna cut some slack for Jurgen Klopp, it is also important to look at the team’s performance since Sadio Mane left for Bayern Munich, it has never been the same.

It is finally crystal clear to everyone that Sadio Mane was a powerhouse at Liverpool, we can only hope it won’t take long before Klopp finds a perfect patch to his position.

After Luis Diaz‘s transfer, a lot of people thought he’d make a perfect match for Mane even though he’s playing from the wing, it’s obvious what we’ve seen so far isn’t anywhere close.

Is Nunez a perfect fit into Mane‘s shoes? I doubt!

The lad is only a striker and not a creator, Mane on the other hand is a player that can drive back and forward while creating unexpected chances for his teammates to score goals. Wait, you’re seriously underestimating the man that scored 100 EPL goals with a single penalty?

Finally, I want to believe that Jurgen Klopp is a smart coach that understands what dots are missing to complete crossing his T’s. I hope tonight he’ll sleep and wake up with a dream about how to rearrange his team to fit and move on without Sadio Mane.
