Some body pains are symptoms to warn us that something has gone wrong with our body functions, sadly most people let the pains slide and mistake it for symptoms of everyday stress.
It’s not every ache, soreness or twinge that will take you to the hospital, but there are pains that come suddenly accompanied by one health condition or the other that you should never ignore.

1. Sudden Groin Pain
Could be: Its probably testicular torsion
It could feel as if you were kicked below the belt and is accompanied by swelling
The pain might not be so intense, but it’s something you shouldn’t ignore. That pain would mean that you are about to lose either one or both of your testicles.
Normally a man’s testicles are attached to his body by the spermatic cords which run into the abdomen and by fleshy anchors near the scrotum.
But sometimes, defects can occur and these anchors could be missing. This allows one of the spermatic cords to get twisted which cuts off the flow of blood to the testicle.

2. Mid-back pain with fever
Could be: A Kidney Infection
Back pains and fevers are two of the most overlooked cases by guys who feel that they should man up rather than act soft. But your back pain accompanied by fever could be a threatening condition.
This condition develops when bacteria that infiltrate the urinary tract spread to the kidneys making the infection much more severe. You could have urinary tract infections symptoms like pain during urination, but for most people, it could go unnoticed until later on. If this condition is left untreated, your kidneys can shut down.

3. Tooth Pain that causes discomfort
Could be: Teeth grinding
Frequent clenching can cause the protective enamel of your tooth to wear away, leaving your nerves exposed. You might even end up cracking teeth down to the root which leads to extraction.
However, this is not a very serious problem, a visit to your dentist can get it solved pretty quick.
4. Dull Stomach Pain To The Lower Right Of Abdomen
Could be: Appendicitis
Normally, most guys would ignore this symptom as indigestion, but appendicitis can become a very serious condition if you appendix were to rupture. The pain usually starts at the center of your stomach and gradually moves the right. Your appendix rupturing could mean giving the bacteria access to get into your bloodstream and infecting your entire body.
Solution: Go straight to the emergency room.
5. Painful Urination with a rusty tint urine color
Could Be: Bladder cancer or other bladder infections
The first thing that comes to mind could be an STD, but is not always the reason for painful urination.

Solution: Visit your doctor to run a diagnosis. Catching the disease early gives you a 90 percent of getting rid of it.
6. Momentary Chest Pain
Could be: A heart attack
It could feel like a heavy or sharp ache that comes on suddenly and then goes away just as quickly. Otherwise, you feel fine.
According to John Stamatos, M.D., medical director of North Shore Pain Services, “it is something you should take seriously, even if it only for a very short duration”.
Here’s how serious: A blood clot may have lodged in a narrowed section of a coronary artery, completely cutting off the flow of blood to one section of your heart.
Solution: 50% of deaths from heart attacks occur within 3 to 4 hours of the first symptoms (although not all heart attacks lead to death). But you should go for a medical checkup immediately you feel the first symptom.
7. Sudden Severe Back Pain
Could Be: The sign of an aneurysm or kidney stone
Sudden severe back pain can be related to sleeping wrongly or exercise, but if it’s not then it can be the sign of an aneurysm.
According to Sigfried Kra, M.D., an associate professor at the Yale school of medicine, “it is something you should take seriously”.
Particularly troubling is an abdominal aneurysm, a dangerous weakening of the aorta just above the kidneys. If it bursts, you’ll die within minutes.

8. A ‘thunderclap’ headache / Pain Above or Behind Your Eye
Could be: another sign of an aneurysm
A thunderclap headache feels completely different from mild or moderate headaches as having an over-the-counter pain medication gives you relieve from those types of headaches, but for thunderclap headaches, it’s much worse.
If your headache comes on suddenly and feels very painful unlike anything you have ever had, then you should do everything possible to get yourself to the hospital on time.
The biggest risk is if the aneurysm ruptures which reduces your chances of survival. 40% of ruptured aneurysms cases are fatal while those who survive suffer one form of brain damage or the other.
