THE X-FAMILY Story by Faith Lucky (Octavia and the Master)

Episode 38.

Blood!!

“Argh!!” She screamed immediately, her eyes shining bright in shock.

Octavia stared at her for some seconds, surprised at the blood on her hands. Why was she bleeding?

“No!! No!!” Becca continued screaming, still staring at the blood stain.

She didn’t exactly know why she was bleeding, but somehow, she felt she was terribly hurt.

The door went open immediately and the guards came running in, being attracted by Becca’s screams.

They shot Octavia a spare before rushing to Becca on the floor and one of them carried her in his arms immediately.

“What happened to her?!” The other snapped at Octavia, but she didn’t say a word as she just bent her head in contrition.

The one with Becca ran off immediately while the other grabbed Octavia by the hand and took her out of the room as well.

While Becca was rushed to Leo, Octavia was being taken to a quiet room which was mostly used for holding offenders captive.

“What the hell happened? Why were you fighting with her?” He asked as he threw her into the room.

But as usual, Octavia bent her head and didn’t say a word. Although, she felt so uncomfortable.

“Answer me!” He yelled, but she said nothing still and he turned around and left, locking the door and standing outside to guide it.

Octavia sighed and leaned her back against the wall

Oh damn! What has happened? What has she done? How did everything happen so fast?

She ruffled her hair and slided to the floor. Had she really hurt Becca that much that she had to bleed?

But she didn’t want to hurt her. Oh? Damn it! Why didn’t she just leave her alone?

If only she had just left her alone, then none of these would’ve happened. None of it at all.

She groaned as she sat on the floor. Oh! She felt so dirty. Her thighs were sticky due to the semen that was stuck there. She really needed to clean up

Why does this have to happen now, huh? Why now?

Khalid was in his other room with Zack, having a drink with him.

After his intercourse with Octavia, he discovered the room was too dirty for him and decided to let her be. So, when Zack came visiting immediately, he had to take him to his second room.

They drank and talked about a lot of things, but their smooth conversation was interrupted by a knock on the door.

“Who’s it?” Khalid asked grumpily, feeling disturbed and the door opened, revealing a guard.

“Master” he bowed.
“I’m sorry to interrupt, but something has happened to Becca”.

Khalid’s brows only knitted.

Becca?

“What is it?” He asked, Zack also looking at the guard with interest.

“It seems she had a fight with the new girl – Octavia. But she was badly hurt and is currently at Leo’s place” the guard answered and for a moment, Khalid was mute, his eyes just on the guard.

Finally, he turned away and drank from his glass.

“How badly was she hurt?” He asked calmly, his gaze now in his almost empty glass.

“I can’t really say for now, Master. But she was bleeding”

Bleeding? Khalid thought. How severe could it be?

He sighed and drank from his glass again.

“You can leave” he mumbled and the guard bowed and left.

“Why would she get into a fight with someone?” Zack asked immediately. “that lady needs to be punished. She has no right to fight with Becca, no matter what”.

Khalid was silent.

“Aren’t you paying her a visit?” He asked again and Khalid sighed.

“Of course, I will. Just need some time” he answered coldly.

Becca was sitting on the bed with Pamela in front of her.

It’s been hours now and..well, she was feeling a bit better. She had been experiencing a lot of cramps over the time but Leo had given her something to subside it and it seemed to stop. Although, she was still very curious about the bleeding aspect and wanted to know why it had happened

“But why did she hit you, anyway?” Pamela asked. “Was the fight started by you?”

“She was being rude to me, Pam, and I had to slap. And in return, she did this to me” Becca replied, feeling the anger once again.

Oh! How badly she was going to deal with that b’tch.

“That lady really got some nerves, huh?” Pamela scoffed.
“Well, I’m pretty sure Khalid would punish her severally for this”

Becca held her tummy and groaned, feeling a lot of pains at her lower abdomen. She couldn’t explain it, but it was tormenting her.

Leo stepped in immediately, holding a wooden plate with him and one more thing, he was wearing an unpleasant look.

“You should drink this, Becca” he mumbled as he proffered the plate out to her which she collected and gulped.

“Leo” she called blearily. “Do you think I’m okay? Why was I bleeding?”

Leo sighed and stared downwards at the floor.

“Becca” he called, then allowed a few seconds to pass.
Damn! He was making her too nervous.

“I think I might have some badnews for you” he said and Becca’s eyes dimmed.

“Okay. That was it. What badnews was he talking about?

She looked at him, curiosly, not saying a word.

“I think… you were pregnant”

Becca’s hand shook immediately.

Pregnant? The word resounded in her head.

Hold on…What’s he talking about!

She scoffed and looked at him.

“I…I don’t think I understand your Leo” she stuttered.
“What do you mean pregnant? I can’t be pregnant”.

“Why? What makes you so sure?” He asked.

“Well, because… few days ago, I had been on my flow. I mean, I….I had seen my period. So, there’s no way I could be pregnant”.

“Becca” Leo called with a sigh.
“It’s actually very possible for a pregnant woman to see her flow, especially in the first trimester. The bleeding you had experienced a while ago, was as a result of a miscarriage. You were really pregnant, Becca”.

The plate she had with her fell from her hand and broke on the floor immediately.

Hold on…
She was pregnant? Pregnant for Khalid?? She was carrying Khalid’s child?? And she lost it?

“No” she shook her head whisperingly, unable to believe it.
Her eyes were narrowing on the floor.

Now, it was all getting clear to her. The symptoms and everything!! She had been pregnant!

“No..!” She shook her head again, hot scalding tears streaming down her cheeks.

She stood up from the bed and marched towards the door, but Leo was fast enough to grab her

“Becca…”

“No!!!” She screamed in tears and agony.
Pamela was also on her feet already, in unbelievable shock.
She was too shocked to even hold her friend.

“No!! No!! Let me go!! Let me go!!” Becca continued screaming, unable to express the pains she felt.

She was pregnant but she lost her baby; she lost her first child; her first child for Khalid.

“Octavia!!!!!” She cried in a high pitched tone, her voice went really far.

Even Octavia who was reminiscincing on the floor heard it and her eyes snapped open.

“Let me go!! Let me go!! She killed my baby!” She fell into Leo’s arms.

The door burst open and Khalid rushed in, his steps not too fast tho.

Immediately, Becca ran away from Leo’s arms and ran to him instead, hugging him tight.

“Khalid!!” She cried out, gripping him tight.
Khalid had been stunned at the drama and wanted to understand what was going on.

“She killed my baby! She killed my baby!” Becca sniveled against his shoulders.

Khalid was confused. What baby is she talking about?

He looked at the faces of Leo and Pamela, trying to get more answers from the.

“She killed my baby! I lost my child!” She continued crying like an insane woman. .
Slowly, Khalid lifted his hands to her hair and stroke it softly.

“It’s okay, Becca. It’s okay. You need to rest” he whispered into her ears, driving her with the sleeping sensation.
And instantly, she passed out.

Octavia shook in fear when the door opened and her sister rushed in, looking paranoid.

“Octavia!” She called and Octavia sprang on her feet immediately.

Oh! It was obvious; something was wrong and she was in trouble.

“What have you done?” Mica whimpered.
“Why did you do it?”

Honestly, Octavia was confused.

“D..D..Did what?” She stuttered anxiously.

“Why did you attack Becca! She was pregnant, but now, she had a miscarriage as a result of what you did! Why the hell did you do it?!” Mica half yelled and Octavia’s eyes dimmed.

Wait… what?

Her heart splitted into two and she had to place her hand on her chest to support it.

Becca was pregnant? She was pregnant?

Oh! No wonder the bleeding. She was pregnant!

“Octavia, you’ve created a mess” Mica winced. “What have you done?”..

“I didn’t want to do it” she muttered, a tear rolling down her cheek.
“I didn’t want to do it. She…She attacked me. She attacked me”.

She slided downwards on the wall until her butts hit the floor.
Her hands were literally shaking.

Oh God! She had caused the death of Becca’s child. Not just Becca’s child, but Khalid’s child.
