Episode 16.

“You came here to announce to me that you are travelling back already, right?”, Dammy said as Daniel entered her room.

“Dammy, why are you treating me like this. I have seriously repented of all the things I did wrong. I said I’m sorry”, Daniel pleaded.

Dammy was seated in front of her mirror trying to apply some make up on her face.

She turned to her brother and said,” I don’t believe you and I can never believe you. You just entered my room without knocking again and you said that you have repented. What if I was also naked this this time around?”.

” Oh my! I’m really sorry baby sis. Old habits that I have been trying to get away. I’m sorry, I would learn to knock before I enter your room. By the way, where are you going early this morning?

Dammy gave her brother a scornful look, then she replied, “How is that any of your business? For your information, I’m going for a lesson in school”.

Daniel gave a fake smile and said, ” Dammy, today is Saturday. We both know that you don’t have any lesson at school. Why are you lying to your brother?

“Brother my foot! How dare you call yourself my brother? Nobody deserves a brother like you”.

“I know I wronged you, but, if God can forgive me, you can too. The Bible says in Romans 5:8 : But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Dammy, Christ died for both of us when we were still sinners, he truly loves us. And when we come into His light, He controls our life…”

“Hey, hold it there! I’m sure that you didn’t come to my room early in the morning to start preaching to me. I’m going out now”, Dammy said as she stood up from the chair she was seating. Dammy carried a beautiful handbag and wore a black wedge which complemented the short pink gown she was wearing.

“Dammy! Wait! I don’t have a good feeling about this . Please don’t go, I’m sensing danger. The Holy Spirit is telling me to warn you not to go. We both know that you have no lesson in school.”

Dammy made a mockery laugh and said, ” Holy Spirit? You? People like you don’t have the Holy Spirit, they only have demonic spirit. By the way, I have already informed mom that I’m going for a lesson today and she gave me a go ahead. If she comes back before me, tell her that I’ve gone for the lesson. If you do otherwise, I would tell her what we cooked that got the house burnt”, Dammy said proverbially and walk out.

“Dammy! Dammy!”, Daniel tried to call back.

Dammy ignored Daniel and walked away. Daniel couldn’t run after her. He went to his room and started pacing around.

After some minutes of pacing around, he sat down and said, ” God! Why am I sensing danger? Please, have mercy on Dammy. What’s going to happen to my sister?

“Somebody help me. David, please don’t do this to me”, Dammy screamed.

” Nobody is going to help you. No one can hear your voice”, David said wickedly as he unbuttoned his shirts.

” David, but, you said you are a child of God. Remember that you said you loved me . David, please don’t hurt me”

As David moved towards her, she screamed, “Help!”.
