Episode 13.

“Okay, I’m all ears”, Dammy said.

“Dammy, I’m sorry if this sounds like I’m interfering in your personal life. I overheard part of your discussion with David today in class and I sensed something fishy. Dammy, as I said earlier, I’m sorry for interfering, but, I really care about you. I don’t want you to regret later.

Don’t allow over familiarity with David to destroy you. Please, be careful with him. The Bible says in the book of 1 Corinthians 10:12 : ‘Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall’. Dammy, I really care about you. Please, be careful. I’ll continue praying for you”.

Dammy didn’t know what to say. She couldn’t defend her actions in any way and there was no explanation she could give. After some seconds, she said, “Thank you very much, Esther. I really appreciate. I promise to be careful”.

“Okay dear, see you in school tomorrow”, Esther said and walked away.

Dammy turned away also and walked away slowly.

Dammy got home tired. The impact of the words Esther said to her earlier was still in her. She got to the living room and met her mom watching the television. Her mom looked so happy.

Dammy wondered what made her mom happy.

“Good afternoon, mom”, Dammy said so as to be noticed by her mom.

“Oh! Welcome dear. How was school today?”, Mrs Ololade asked.
Dammy tried to pinch herself to make sure she wasn’t dreaming.” Is this not the same woman who has been hostile to her? Whatever could make her mom happy must surely be a great thing”, She reasoned.

“School was fine, ma”, Dammy replied..

Mrs Ololade turned to her and said, “I’m actually in a good mood today. Guess what?”.

“I’m not good at guessing, mom”, Dammy replied.

“Okay, let me tell you. Daniel is back home”, Mrs Ololade said and smiled.

“What!”, Dammy screamed.

“You are happy right, it’s okay to be excited. You can go to greet him in his room”, Mrs Ololade said.

Dammy left for her room immediately. As she got to her room, she dropped her bag and started whimpering.

“Why is that devil back here”, She said in between her sobs.

She was still crying when she heard a knock at her door.

“Come in”, Dammy said as she wiped her tears.

“Hey Dammy. Mom just told me that you have gotten home. I have really missed you, Daniel said.

Dammy did not reply any of Daniel’s words.
“For months now, I havent been around. I just returned from school and this is how you would welcome me?”, Daniel asked.

“Why did you come home?”, Dammy asked.

“What sort of sister asks her elder brother why he returns back home? Who does that?”, Daniel asked.

You need a flashback on the devil role you played in my life right?, Dammy asked.

It all started some years ago. Dammy was nine years old, her elder brother was sixteen years. Her mom and my dad travelled for a ceremony in a far away town. They left Dammy with her brother because they believed he would take good care of her. Daniel was in his final year in secondary school then and Dammy was in her final year in primary school.

On that fateful day their parents travelled, Daniel came late from school. Dammy was in her room when he came back. He entered her room without knocking . Dammy was naked as ahe just had a shower. She was young and naive then. She felt nothing could go wrong since he was her elder brother.

When he saw her naked, he didn’t react at all. He just talked to her as if everything was okay. He asked if she had eaten and she told him “No”. He went to the kitchen to prepare noodles for her. Some minutes later, the noodles was done. He invited her to the dining to eat. They ate together and Dammy even joked with him that she could cook better than him.

After they were done eating, they watched movies and played around the house.

They were about to sleep at night when Daniel came to Dammys room and told her that he didn’t want her to sleep alone in her room. He said she would be more secure in his room. Dammy agreed with him and went to his room with her teddy.

They joked for a while and also played around the room. His bed was big enough for both of them to sleep. Dammy lied on the bed and Daniel lied beside her. Dammy couldn’t sleep for a long while because of the excitement of sleeping in her brother’s room. She had started sleeping in her own room since she was four and she had never spent a night in her brother’s room before that time.

He turned around and noticed she was not sleeping. He drew closer to her and removed her skirt. Although Dammy was nine years already, she didnt know what was going on until her brother penetrated into her.

She was really in great pains, she lost a lot of blood. She lost her virginity.

All Dammy could do was just to cry. Daniel begged her. He told her that he just wanted to make her feel like a woman. He told her that she did that because he loved her. He took her to the bathroom and cleaned up for her. He also made Dammy swear not to tell their parents about what happened between them.
It didnt end there. Their parents returned the next and didn’t suspect anything.

Daniel never stopped coming into Dammy’s room. He would come into her room even when their mom was at home and he would have sexual intercourse with her.

Their mom never noticed, she was always in her room. That went on till Daniel gained admission into the University. Dammy was very happy when he left. It marked her freedom from being a sex slave.

“Dammy, I have been asking for your forgiveness since then. Im sorry”, Daniel said in tears..

“You don’t deserve forgiveness. A monster like you doesnt deserve forgiveness “, Dammy said using her hands to wipe away the tears on her face.

“Dammy, I’m really sorry. I didn’t understand what I was doing then. I was naive and foolish then. Dammy, I’m changed now. I’m sincerely born again and I need your forgiveness”, Daniel pleaded.

“Born again my foot. You don’t deserve mercy from God, you are supposed to rot in hell. I would never forgive you”, Dammy said.

“Dammy, please don’t do this to me. I know that I have wronged you, but, I need you to forgive me. The Lord’s prayer says ‘Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us’ “, Daniel cried.

“What do you know about God? If you knew God, you wouldn’t have done what you did. Daniel, out of my room. I said get out. Now!”, Dammy said in tears.
