Episode 10 (Last Episode).

Mr Adie put Vera Into the back sit of one of their SUV , Mrs Susan entered and put her head on her lap . Victor managed and jumped into the front seat , they drove out leaving the gate wide open.

They was so much traffic on the road , Mr Adie who has always been a respecter of traffic rules , broke protocol that day , he drove against traffic lights and drove one way . His brain wasn’t reasoning well , all he cared was to save his daughter’s life . He was wondering if all they’d seen was imagination or reality , he turned back and looked at Susan weeping with Vera who appeared lifeless on her lap .
In ten minutes they were at Crestview hospital, one of the biggest , and well equipped hospitals in Abuja. Immediately Mr Adie Carried Vera from the car and was running to the emergency, the nurses rushed down , and collected Vera from her him and placed her on a stretcher, she was wheeled into the ICU.

The Adie’s were asked to wait at the emergency reception ,while the nurses wheeled her into the ICU unit . Mr Adie looked at his hands and saw Vera’s skin that pilled off , tears was struggling to fall off his eyes , but he held it back .
” Nurse Theresa please go and put a call through to doctor Nicholas and Savanus tell them to report to the ICU unit one , that there’s a critical condition affecting a child here.”
She used a pair of scissors to pry open Vera’s clothes soaked in blood . She was amazed at the extent of damage on her body . Tje other doctors joined her , Vera was still unconscious, they checked her vital signs . Her blood pressure was onw seventy over hundred, they placed her on a drip, that an was injected with anti BP drugs. Oxygen mask was placed on her face .
The doctors worked for three hours , before Vera could breath again.
” Mr and Mrs Adie we’ve been able to stabilize your child for now, I’ll like you both to follow me to my office for a serious conversation.”
They followed Dr Uju to her spacious and elaborately furnished office , that looked more like a presidential suite than an office . The wall was covered with expensive art works, the furniture was made with ebony brown mohagany wood. The floor was covered with thick soft Arabian rug .

” Mr and Mrs Adie, let’s cut to the chase ! I’m the leader consultant, truamer surgery, and the managing director of this hospital. I’m sorry to inform you that our child support office, has reported this incidence to the Nigerian police and they’ll be here any minute to interrogate you two, It’s our standard procedure , when a child is involved. We cannot go with the story you gave us that there was a demonic attack on your child . We don’t believe demons could burn human skin, but we believe human can , so they’ll be here to interview you, if there’s no case of domestic abuse, you’ll be free to go with your daughter when she is discharged. ”
Mrs Susan couldn’t hold back tears , she was weeping profusely , shaking and fidgeting, the doctor was thinking she was doing this out of fear of investigation, she knew in her heart that the silent mother must have been the one who burnt her daughter with fire , she thought how some women were wicked .
“Madam we’re grateful for your concern, our case is beyond the ordinary, my wife here was in strong denial , that our daughter couldn’t be possessed , she covered It up with every kind of medical jargon . Even when the sign was glaring , people in my neighborhood are in the know, many of them witnessed the event this morning…” She cut him up .

“Mr Adie please save the explanation for the relevant authority, I must ask you to excuse me , I have to go for ward rounds .”
Immediately a call came on her intercom .
“Hello Doctor Uju your attention is needed and truama surgery a patient has relapsed.”
The doctor ran out of her office towards the ICU unit, Vera had pulled off the oxygen mask , she was jerking on the bed , the bed was vibrating , the doctors tried to inject her , but her skin was too strong , it was hard like stone the needle bent , her eyes began to change to pure charcoal black and then the voice spot .

“Take me away from here I hate it here !! And do not bring the needle close to me or I’ll kill you!”

It was the harsh voice of zubulam speaking , the doctors and nurses were taken aback.
“We have to sedate her , she might be experiencing psychosis from the trauma she has been through”.
Doctor Uju ordered .
Mr Adie and his wife watched from outside how , their daughter was struggling. When a huge male doctor came to give her a sleeping injection. Zubulam sent him flyimg like a pack of chips across the room . Vera’s body began to float , the bed too floated from the ground , heavy breeze opened and shut many doors and windows curtains in hospital, glass windows shattered.
“Don’t come near me ! I own this body, the soul is mine ! She made a deal with the devil”

Zubulam roared , Thunderstorm stroke outside, it was as if the hospital building was about to collapse. Suddenly the bed landed back on the ground , Vera’s body landed back, the doctors were not about to give up on the poor girl . They put on the oxygen mask, very lay still her eyes became white again , she woke up . She was starring at her mum, and dad with her brother they were all crying.

“Mummy I’m sorry , I don’t want to die mummy!! They want to take me away to hell , Zaragoza camamandaya’s agents are here ! Zubulam Is here they want to take my soul to hell, I’m sorry I didnt want to become a witch.”

Zubulam took over her eyes became black again .
” Her soul is mine hahahahahaha .”
Zubulam mocked the Adie’s.
“Mummy I don’t want Miss Imini as my lesson teacher.”
He spoke in Vera’s voice three years ago .
“Shut up your mouth , whatever you do she’ll be your teacher .”
He spoke in Mrs Susan’s voice , all from Vera’s mouth .

“Mummy Miss Imini is a witch she takes me to meeting , we eat human flesh and drink blood ”
He continued mocking Mrs Susan.
“Shut up! Shut up!!! Enough of this rubbish ! You’re grounded for one week! No TV no handset , no shopping mall , you’re becoming a naughty girl and I’ve had enough of it .”
Zubulam laughed so loud,Mrs Susan wept so much, she knew she caused it all.
“Vincent you know I didn’t plan for this to happen? I love our children I only wanted Vera to be better , how was I to know the young lady was a witch, how would I ?”
Mrs Susan said why crying bitterly , her husband embraced her , and held her tight .
“Baby we’re in this together it’s not your fault it’s not Vera’s fault, it’s Imini’s fault and the devil’s fault , we need to call pastor melody .”

Now the doctors knew that it wasn’t a medical problem, there was nothing more they could do. They gave Mr Adie a bill of two million for the two days Vera was on admission. Suddenly Vera relapsed again . The doctors tried to put some machines on her , but all the electronic machines in the hospital that was plugged to light crashed and were damaged.

“Mr Adie we’re discharging your daughter from the hospital, this is truly not a physical or medical issue , this is more spiritual, you have to go look for a spiritual solution”.
They discharged them from the hospital, Vera was continuously speaking in gibberish tongues , sometimes in her voice sometimes in Zubulam’s . When they got home on Tuesday evening after spending three days in the hospital, Vera’s wounds were all healed , they took her to her room, they there met a black human like horse figure which disappeared Into the wall .
Mr Adie called his pastor friend , who told him that he was out of the country for a crusade and won’t be back until about a week time , he sent his junior pastor instead . When he came the Adie’s took him up to Vera’s room, which was filled with strong odour of goat dung that Zubulam defecated in the room.

“Father in the name of Jesus I command you evil spirit get out on Jesus name .”
Zubulam grabbed him by the neck and pinned him to the wall , he dragged his tie until he was about to choke .
” Pastor Mathias we shouldn’t do this ! What if I get pregnant? My dad would be mad!”
Zubulam spoke through Vera’s mouth as her eyes went black and she sat up looking straight at the pastor .
“Cynthia don’t worry of you get pregnant again we would remove I like the last time? Your parents won’t know anything, I’ll give you plenty money.”

Zubulam continued speaking revealing the exact words the junior pastor said to his boss’s sixteen years old daughter to devil her .
” You are unholy, my mission is to retrieve a sacrifice willfully offered unto me , a holy pastor could fight for soul not a fake pastor like you .”
Pastor Mathias clothes were torn to pieces were he was suspended in the air , Zubulam left him with only his boxers , he released him from the wall .
“Now run away you defiled hypocrite”.
The door flew open an invincible force sent him floating out of the room .

“Zubulam you called me to serve you , I want your help ! The supreme lord of black coven wants to destroy my family! I’m a witch but I love my family! The coming of the supreme lord and his one thousand army is imminent! I only don’t know when! The supreme lord is unforgivable, once you cross him. I want you to fortify me with your demons, possess me The evil one , so I can have s greater power to fight against those who want to destroy me !”
Zubulam was recapping everything Vera said on the day the deal was made , when she made the deal to save her family.

“I didn’t waste my mage power to invoke you here to preach sermons to me ! Will you help me ? Or should I send you back to your home in hel
” Don’t you dare! Threaten me you pitiful human! The next time you threaten me I’ll take you with me to hell .”

“Zubulam I dare you!
Vera started making incantations to send zubulam to hades .
“Stop! The price for you to be able to win , Zaragoza camamandaya and supreme Lord of serpent coven is your soul. Your time is up, the serpent coven is on it’s way to you! I see two thousand members and five hundred legions of demons , they’ll kill your brother , kill your father and mother hahahahohoho.”
Zubulam mocked the Adie’s.
He continued in Vera’s voice.
“Zubulam ! Zubulam! Evil spirit of the night! I submit my soul to you, in the blood covenant! That I serve you until I die ! Anyday I deviate from your will strike me dead I give my life , my body and my soul to you! Come inside me now!!”

This he said in Vera’s voice .
“Witches shouldn’t have heart for love but your daughter failed, she refused to sacrifice the three of you for her life and more power though she gave her brother Kelvin , she killed two thousand soul , hahahaha, now is time for me to take her soul”
Zubulam raised Vera high from the bed to the ceiling and threw her head down , she fell down head first , he picked her up like a rag dull and smashed her head on the wall, Then threw her body on the floor. she jerked for sometime and then lay still , as hot tears rolled down her face . Mrs Susan broke I tears , they rushed to their daughter they took her down stairs , drove her to the national hospital were she was confirmed dead on arrival. Immediately Mr Adie had aa heart attack and slumped . He was rushed to the ICU.

Vera was taken to the mortuary, while they battled all night resuscitate Mr Adie. He came around three A.M he felt like he was dreaming, that his beautiful and caring daughter, is at home waiting for him to return from work , but it downed on him , when he saw his wife’s swollen red eyes , and his son’s teary sleepless face starring down at him as he woke from his subconscious sleep.

The next morning they made preparation to go bury little Vera, they got an ambulance with casket. But Vera’s body was missing in the morgue , they could only find her clothes and under wear , they was blood stains in the freezer were they put her body , but Vera’s body was gone . The floor was littered with goat feaces , they knew Zubulam had come to take her body away . Mr Adie and his wife were too weak to fight the hospital.

Mr Adie sold all their properties , they travelled out of Nigeria to the US , he knew he was never going to step a foot in Nigeria until the day he died.
