Actress Gina Rodriguez Finally React To Viral ‘N-Word’ Video
Actress Gina Rodriguez is receiving backlash on social media again, this time for singing the n-word while on Instagram Live.
In the now-deleted video, Rodriguez, who is of Puerto Rican descent, rapped along to the iconic Fugees’ song “Ready or Not.”
“Voodoo / I could do what you do, believe me,” she rapped. Continuing “N*ggas give me heebie-jeebies.”
Viewers were not impressed and quickly let her have it online before the actress offered up and apology for her actions.
“I just wanted to reach out and apologize. I am sorry,” Rodriguez said later on her Instagram story. “I am sorry if I offended anyone by singing along to the Fugees, to a song I love, I grew up on. I love Lauryn Hill, and I really am sorry if I offended you.”

She then posted a lengthy apology:

Rodriguez has a history of making insensitive remarks regarding the Black community, so that’s possibly why her followers have chosen not to let it slide.
Do you think she was wrong?
