6 Things You Should Do When Your Car (Vehicle) Brake Fails And You Are In Motion

Are you trying “ninety (90) on a free way” and it goes wrong? What should you do when/if you find yourself in a middle of nowhere with a failed brake vehicle? Kindly do these;

1. Compose yourself and don’t over panic
2. Keep pumping the break
3. Change your gear to neutral
4. Don’t turn off the ignition for any reason because it won’t reduce your speed but will instead lock your steering. Or Put the car on gear 1 and turn off ignition.
5. When the car slows down a bit, you could apply your handbrake
6. If you don’t have a functioning handbrake, be ready to make a tough decision like running your car to the median separator which will damage the car but your chances of surviving is way higher than running into another car.
