[STORY] ZADIRA – Another Love Journey (Episode 16)

Episode 16.

“Haa-haa haa-haa” Chief gave a deep throaty laughter as he matched out of his house with his car keys, he ordered his house girl to untie his gateman.

“Good morning, sir” his gateman greeted him running towards the gate to open it, he made a call and zoom off.

“So they are the thieves?” Betty asked clapping her hands to elucidate wonders, the gateman nodded and head to the gate, to open the gate for the policemen Chief called.

“Aahh..!” One among the policeman held his stomach as Oliver fired him with his gun when the spell was broken; the others (Boss & Spider) surrendered, dropping their guns on the floor.

“Ma..m..a!” Oliver scream in pains as the police officers release their bullets on him when he wanted to escape, he dropped to the floor bleeding to death.

“He is dead, sir.” when the ambulance arrived he was confirmed dead, they carried his body to the police station.

“Police station…. for what sir . . . I’ll be on my way” Felicia has been planning on how to kill Michael with the charm, a call came in from unknown number, and she took her handbag with her car keys and horridly left the house.

“Adaora, go and open the door for your uncle” she instructed the girl whose eyes are glued to the television; she nodded positively and continue watching the cartoon. Felicia left the house without confirming if she has done what she wanted.

“Madam, we are deeply sorry. Is he your son?” The policeman leading the way showed her the corpse on the floor, Felicia gave a short laugh and wonder who is lying there ’cause her husband just called her a minute ago.

“Oliver why? Why do you have to die!” when she look closely at the corpse, she discovered is her son who left home three days ago. She dropped to the floor crying bitterly.

“Felicia!” Chief Mbakwe called her name when the police officers invited him to come and see the boys in their custody, he stare closely at the lady crying on the floor and find out who she is.

“Mbakwe!” Felicia gasped in surprise to see Ijele’s friend she hasn’t seen for years.

“Go and bath then eat” Jackson ordered curled Michael body on the floor; he has opened the door on Felicia command. Michael drags his body slowly to the bathroom.

“Adaora, where is the food that your mom dropped for me?” Michael has opened all the pots in the kitchen to find every one of them dirty and empty; he knows his aunty has dropped food for him. But where it is, is what he wants to find out.

“I gave it to Steven” Adaora said running away from Michael’s red eyes to her parents’ bedroom, he didn’t believe his ears that his food has been given to one of her stupid friends

“Aahh..!” He groaned when the worms in his stomach became more aggressive, he really wanted to eat, poison or no poisoned food, he dropped to the floor thinking where Zadira has been all these while. He thought she is his guardian Angel, has she left him also just like his parents to suffer alone. Tears fall from his eyes as he remembered all these. Why would Zadi abandon him at this crucial moment?

“You look agitated and unhappy” Mr. Peter studied Michael closely who hasn’t been himself ever since he won the prize, they didn’t stay back ’cause he wanted to get home quickly without celebrating his victory in Aso Rock.

“Am fine sir, just stressed out” he forced out a smile while the man nodded ’cause what he did isn’t an easy task, he is totally not fine. Something terrible is about to happen to his beloved.

“Ooh… Zadira”
