[STORY] THE X-FAMILY (Season 02 Episode 19)

Episode 19.

Octavia felt so uncomfortable as she returned back to the room. Her head was heavy, her waist aching, her legs weak. She couldn’t really explain it, and she was hungry as well.

She got to the room, but Mica wasn’t in and she couldn’t go all the way to the kitchen to get some food. Oh God! What does she do?

She fell on the bed and went into a light slumber,, her hand on her tummy.

Even in her sleep, she felt worried as something in her guts kept telling her a great danger was coming her way – to her baby.

Something kept reminding her of how impossible it was to birth a child in the clan, and for someone like Khalid.

Khalid had only agreed to support her because Leo said the baby couldn’t be removed. But what would happen as soon as she puts to bed? What would become of her?

Khalid was a man of too many responsibilities and and couldn’t imagine herself having a future with him – a family. In less than three days, they’d all be going for the election of a leader. Khalid was a person with high influence and what if he wins the election and becomes the next X-family leader? He’d become too busy and would obviously not pay attention to her anymore.

She also heard that during the elections, each Master was only permitted to be in the company of one lady who was likely to be his girlfriend. Obviously, Khalid would be going with Becca as that “one lady” and it only meant throughout the election period, she wouldn’t get to be with him

Her greatest fear; shs feared he might ask her to sell the baby out as soon as she puts to bed. He didn’t even love her- although, he’s been doing a lot of things in her favor, it didn’t mean he loved her.

Why did her life have to take such messy turn, huh?

“Octavia, Octavia” she heard that familiar voice penetrating deep into her sleep and knew instantly it was Mica.

“Mmh?” She grumbled, turning uncomfortably on the bed and found Mica sitting and staring at her.

“You’re back. Have you see Becca?” Mica asked immediately and half of the dizziness washed from Octavia’s eyes instantly as she sat up.
Oh, Becca! Why did she have to get reminded by it, huh?

“Y…yeah. I’ve seen her” she swallowed hard.

“This isn’t a good sign, Octavia. Becca might do everything in her power to get rid of the baby and in return, could endanger your life” Mica repeated her fears in front of her.

“We need to do something” she added and Octavia looked at her.

“But what?” She asked fraily. “What could we possibly do? I .. I don’t even have a home to return to, and even if I did, there are so many enemies out there that wouldn’t hesitate to get back at me as soon as they discover I’m vulnerable. I’m stuck, Mica” .

Mica exhaled deeply and looked away, seeming to go into deep thoughts. For a long time, the two sisters were quiet for a long time and neither of them were able to come up with a better suggestion.

“Listen” Mica finally sad with a sigh, but it wasn’t a better idea.
“For now, you just need to avoid her as much as possible. Stay clear from her path. If you see her coming your way, you take another turn. Even if she angers you Octavia, please, resist the temptation to fight back and just move away. Do you understand?”

Octavia nodded pathetically. Well, she was someone who hated trouble a lot, but unfortunately, it keeps coming back to her.

“Good. Have you eaten?” Mica asked and she shook her head negatively.

“I.. I don’t really have much appetite” she sniffed and said.

“Oh. Maybe I should just get you some noodles, then. What do you think?” Mica asked as she left the bed.

“Um…Y…Yes. And maybe you could add some egss along. With some… chips, and um…a cup of coffee” she answered and Mica looked at her in shock.
For real?

If there was a word greater than anger, Becca would’ve definitely used it on herself.

She felt so angry and bittered and although, she’s missed Khalid’s body so much,she couldn’t think of having s.ex with him – not yet.

She paced restlessly in her room with Pamela on the bed, watching her quietly

Her hands were at akimbo as so many angry, evil thoughts ran through her mind.

“You just got back, Becca. You need to calm down and rest your head” Pamela grouse.

“Seriously?” Becca scoffed and looked at her .”That b!tch is out there carrying Khalid’s child and want me to rest my head? ”

She resumed walking.

“Can’t you see what she’s trying to do, Pamela? She’s trying to take over me – completely. First, she stupidly came here and insisted on staying. Secondly, she broke all the rules and found a tricky way to get Khalid to defend her. Thirdly, the b!tch made me lose my baby! She made me lose my child!”

“But… Octavia had no idea you were pregnant, right?” Pamela suddenly asked. “Actually, you didn’t even know you were pregnant”.

“And so f**king what?!” Becca snapped. “And so f**king what, Pamela? It doesn’t change the fact she’s the reason she’s the reason I lost my child!”

She huffed and resumed walking.

“Now she’s pregnant for him, and no termination was carried out” she continued angrily.

“I think that’s a little wrong, Becca. She tried terminating the baby even without telling Khalid about it, but it didn’t work out”. Pamela chipped in.

“Oh, please! Those are just cheap lies and excuses. She never carried an attempt and it’s possible she made Leo lie to Khalid as well” Becca rasped.

“But I heard…”

“Hold ok, Pamela, who’s side are you on? I don’t get” she scoffed.

“Oh, Becca! Don’t get me wrong. I’ll always be on your side no matter what. I was only trying to explain things to you since you’ve been away for so long”.

Becca huffed and continued pacing around.

“I’d have to be dead before Octavia can give birth to that baby” she stated spitefully. “Never, and I mean never in my life, will I watch her carry that child successfully”.

A long time passed and the two ladies didn’t say a word to each other.

Then suddenly, a brilliant idea popped into Becca’s had from nowhere.

“Hah!” She gasped and looked at Pamela, her eyes beaming brightly.

Pamela was curious as well.

“Becca? What I it?” She asked.

“Oh, goodness! I think I have a perfect idea” she said grimly.

“Are the girls ready?” Becca asked as she stood in the room with Pamela.

“Yes. Stacey’s agreed to use her powers” Pamela replied and Becca nodded repeatedly.

“But Becca, are you sure about tho6? What if Khalid finds out? What if he knows you were behind it?” Pamela asked, really worried for her friend.

“Well, he’s never going to know because I’ll be in the room with him when it happens. Don’t worry, Pam. I’ll have it under control. Just mke sure you and the girls do a good job” she said with a grin.

That b!tch was finally going to lose her baby today, the same way she lost hers.
