[STORY] SUSAN’S REVENGE (Episode 15)

Episode 15.

“Wow! Sophia, I never thought it would be that easy”, I said as I parked the car in my compound. I was taking driving lessons from Sophia.

Today seemed to be the best ever. I was ready to drive myself anywhere.
Like I said before, the Lord wanted me to remain in Queens high school.
So I began to ask God for what to do next. He didn’t give me an answer. I didn’t know he was going to speak through Sophia.

She met me one day and suggested I throw a party for all the staffs in the school.

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“Invite them to your new apartment to celebrate God’s faithfulness in your life”.

It sounded like a show off to me. A party in honour of God’s faithfulness.

Sounds funny to those invitees. Since everyone were not serious believers, that would upset their stomachs.

“No! That would be awkward!” I said and waved it aside.
Then she asked.

“Fine, but when is your birthday?”

“Two weeks time”, I answered.

“Then it is settled! Throw a party”, she said.

“Sophia! Throwing a party for unsaved people won’t be such a good idea. The music, the food and most especially the drinks”.

“Yes! What about them?” She asked.

“I just don’t want to create too much awareness”, I replied.

“Susan, I know you very well. You won’t call them out there for a disco night or serve them alcohol. Rather, you would draw your sword and slay them all for Jesus.

You would get them drunken in the Holy Ghost. You would win them out of the Devil’s grasp. A birthday party would be our little disguise”.

I was wowed. That was how I got the idea of what God wanted me to do. So I began to prayerfully prepare. I invited everyone in the school except Mr George. Why? God asked me not to.

And if I went further to ask why, he wouldn’t say anything. So I decided to leave that one for him and focused on the bigger plan.

Today’s the day, Sophia and I had driven to get some of the items we needed. Lola, Tessy and her younger brother, Dan were already helping us arrange the place.

Soon our guests started pouring in. Mr Wilson and his wife. Some other staffs and officials. Yeah, they all came in nice outfits. They all looked beautiful and stunning. Soon the house was filled with my colleagues.

They had gifts with them and wished me well. But I was not in that place one bit. I had done prayer walk for three days in that sitting room.

I had spoken to the cushions and the entire house, setting the entire place on fire. I had bought the food items on Friday and in the night by twelve midnight, I spoke into the food items. Commanding the concience of all who ate of them to come back to life, nomatter how tough.
Soon, they were all seated to hear what I had to say. The moment had come. Susan, you’re a killer! I drew out my rifle.

“I’m so glad you’re all here to celebrate with me. Truth be told God has been so faithful. That’s why we are all here. But in the midst of everything he gave us a responsibility.
You are the light of the world”, I said and looked around.

“We as believers are sent to be light to this dark world, but Satan came to trade. A trade by barter.

He exchanged our lights for darkness and we signed the documents by an act of sin.

Rueben was supposed to be a light to his generation. He was supposed to take the mantle of leadership from his father Jacob. Satan saw the light he was carrying. And came to him with a pot of stew, like he did to Esau.

Sell me your glory!”

I could see remorse on the faces of the people in front of me. God was at work.

“Rueben! I have a lady here. She’s everything you want in a woman. Let’s exchange your glory for this lady’s bed. That was where the exchange happened.

The mantle was lifted from him and fell on Simeon and Levi, but they failed God. They killed innocent men because of their sister.

God said what of Judah? Judah slept with his daughter in law and got her pregnant. God said no! This thing is not meant to be handled casually. The whole earth was in darkness. God needed a man, but he found only Joseph.

When Satan saw he was carrying the light of his generation, he came to trade.

Why would a same woman prefer intimacy with a slave? It was beyond normal. There was something so precious to gain from this
transaction the woman was not ashamed to be in bed with a slave”.

Some of the people present were already crying.

“Joseph! Give me this glory on your head. Joseph said no. Satan kept coming everyday. Give it to me.

Never! Ha ha ha ha ha!

Give me your glory!

We collected Dinah’s glory, we collected Rueben’s glory and we have turned Judah into a man that chases after prostitutes. You are the only one left. Joseph said never!

Satan was so frustrated that he tried to take it by force. And Joseph was so determined that he had to keep it by force.

How much did you sell your own?”
Sounds of people crying, filled the room.

Some of my colleagues laid on the floor weeping.

“Joseph so carried God in him that even the Gentile Pharaoh said, ‘THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS IN HIM’.
And I sought for a man!”

“Lord have mercy!” I lady screamed.

“Jesus, I’ve lost it! I’ve failed you!” One said from another end.
I smiled.

“Yes! Yes! The Lord is said in Ezekiel 22:30. And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
I sought for you.

But today he has found you. Because, if you take away the letter N from the word NONE, you’ll have ONE.

Yes! The Lord has found you.

Take me back to the place where I started.

Break the chains and let me go free.

I just can’t stay away any longer.

Take me back Lord to Calvary”, I sang as all over the place, souls were reconciled back to God.

“You were supposed to be a light to your generation, but you traded with the Devil. You were carrying the kind of grace Joseph carried.

The world world would have died of hunger if Joseph had not stood for God. The seven years famine was enough to finish the human race. All the nations of the world came to Egypt and bowed down at Joseph’s feet, to buy food.

Satan knew what he was bargaining when he offered you that money. It’s time to return. Yes! Who’s returning to her maker? His arms are outstretched. He’s waiting to embrace you. He’s here to restore what the Devil stole from you.

Yes! For this reason, the son of God was made manifest that he might destroy the works of the Devil. Go ahead and pour those tears before him.

Oh! Wasted years! But God is here to rewrite stories!” I looked around as everywhere in the sitting room, souls were being reconciled to God.
