[STORY] FLIRTATIOUS (Episode 41)

Episode 41.

Seeing Leni from afar sent shivers down my spine. Her body frame remained the same, and the boys looked well fed. I got down from the car looking surprised.

Roland rushed at me…

“Uncle F.D …. Daddy” ,Roland said

I was overwhelmed with emotions. Tears dropped…

Roland was not Leni’s son alone. He was my son, I was with him from cradle … I saw Greg, he was about 5 years old. He didn’t recognize me.

“Greg….” I said

He ran towards me as well… I couldn’t help my emotions. My heart was swelling, and my tears pouring….

“How are you boys? You look so big”

I looked towards Leni, she had the third boy standing by her. He was hugging his mother’s leg.

“Hi Leni… ” I said

“Hi, F.D …. Hi Promise… You didn’t tell me you were coming with him, I would have prepared the minds of the boys”.

“She didn’t tell me either” I said exonerating myself.

“That’s because I wanted the distance between siblings to end.’ Promise said but Leni replied…

“The distance is good for us, Promise”

“Leni, F.D told me he said a lot of terrible things to you on our wedding night, he is sorry about that.”

“Oh! You said terrible things to me? I didn’t realize that” Leni replied

“Leni, I’m sorry for what happened that night, please find it in your heart to forgive me…”

“What’s her name?” Leni asked about our child.

Promise had carried Kira from the car seat….

“Kira” Promise replied proudly.

“Please, let’s go in to avoiding Kira sustaining any sunburn”

I couldn’t believe Leni was in living such a Luxurious house.

“You have done well for yourself, guess this must be money from Oil& Gas” I said as I had started my investigation. F D was looking around the house in awe…

“I guess children support Money is also helping, I mean the three fathers will be sending you child support” I said jokingly

“Promise, you think I cannot survive without a man bankrolling me?” Leni turned on the offensive

“No… that’s not what I mean”

“That’s what you meant, but I am not taking offense. What can I offer you?”.

“Anything is fine”. Promise said

“Is there something I must avoid regarding his meal?” Leni asked.

For a few seconds, I was lost but then it clicked.

She was asking about his health. F D looked confused.

Oh! About that… I lied … F D is perfectly fine, there is no illness, I said that to you, so you could agree to see me”.

“What are you talking about?” F D asked dumbly

“I lied to Leni that you were sick, and I needed to discuss with her, as regards your health”

“And I bought it like a gullible fool that I have always been” Leni said angrily and sarcastically as she walked out of the living room towards the kitchen

“Follow her and sort things out” I whispered to him. Little did they know I was setting my plan in motion. F.D foolishly followed Leni as I wanted….

“Hello Big boy, When last did you see your Dad?” I started my interrogation with Roland…
