Apple Watch Ultra 2 gets a new black color and new straps

Apple has chosen not to announce a new Apple Watch Ultra model, instead, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 is getting a new color. Called Black Titanium, this is the second color available for the Apple Watch Ultra 2 since it was first announced in 2023. It is also the first time the Apple Watch Ultra series is available to buy in more than one color.

The new color is made from 95% recycled titanium and has a satin finish. It also launches alongside a new titanium Milanese loop in a matching color.

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is getting multiple new features such as sleep apnea detection, Apple Intelligence, and offline maps. The watchOS 11 update will also bring fitness features such as Training Load and the Vitals app.

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 in Black Titanium keeps the $799 price tag of the other color option. However, if you opt for the Milanese loop, the price goes up to $899. Apple also announced a handful of additional straps such as the Apple Watch Hermes Ultra 2 Bleu Nuit En Mer which costs $499, and new colors for the Alpine Loop, Trail Loop, and Ocean Band straps which go for $99 per piece.

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 Black Titanium is available to pre-order now and will be released on September 20.
