The nurse came to my bed side and ask why I have so much trouble around me, that she has never seen where a patient will be so troublesome to the extent of someone coming to press his neck on his dying bed…

What do you mean by dying bed? I was just exaggerating; But the last person admitted on that bed you are lying actually died… She said.

Immediately I heard that I jumped from the bed and sat on the chair, the nurse told me, the dead person also sat and that chair too,… Oh my God, what kind of thing is this I murmured. I stood up to stand but I was feeling so dizzy because I have not eaten since yesterday… I had no other option but to sit back on the bed…

I was still talking to the nurse when Vicky walked in, I was so scared and nervous because I don’t know what her reaction will be after all the drama… She came to my bed side and asked “how are you” I was so surprised with how calm she was… I am fine I said and ask how she’s doing… She replied fine.

I have paid for the hospital bill, we should be leaving now… Thanks you so much I said, but me and Akor are owing this hospital some money and they might not allow me leave this place…

She heaved and told me she has paid for that as well… What kind of a girl are you? Am I dreaming or watching a movie? In this our country where urgent 2k is the most important thing to ladies? A damsel like you can still be this kind and generous? I’m so sorry for everything Vicky…

I stood up and my legs were shaking, she noticed this and told me to sit down… I sat back and she asked why my legs were shaking, I told her I am very hungry and it’s causing me dizziness… She left to ask for wheelchair but after a while she came back looking so angry, I asked why her face is like that… She told me that in the whole of this unit, there’s no wheelchair, I can’t go looking for wheelchair around na…

What do we do now I asked… She told me to hop on her back, I was like what? She said “climb my back”… What can I do na, I climb her back and she carried me like a baby, I buried my face on her back but one of those wicked security men saw me and said “wonder shall never end” my friend, I know you are capable of anything but I have never imagined seeing you on a woman’s back”… I was so upset and told him I am feeling dizzy that is why she carried me, this stupid security man followed me and Vicky and was blabbing what I don’t even care to know and drawing attention at thesame time…

He finally said, what about your friend? I told him that the bills has been settled and he can confirm from the cashier and release him… We got to the car and Vicky handed over a copy of the receipt to the security and the he left.

“How was Vicky able to carry me on her back this far?, another fear grip me because if this lady is strong enough to carry me on her back then she can beat the living day light out of me even if I am her husband”

What are you thinking about? This her question brought me back from my thoughts… Nothing I said.

“I am taking you to my house for few days until you recover.”

“I was overjoyed because I have no intention of going back home especially now that I am keeping malice with Akor, but do men keep malice?, I don’t know and I don’t care if I am the first”… I snapped out of my thoughts when she asked, what do you think?

“I will be glad to stay few days with you… I said”

We got to the house and her security man opened the gate for us… When we got inside, she quickly went to the kitchen to get me “Malt” and fried chicken with fried rice… I drank and ate everything very fast and when I was done I felt energized…

I asked her, who was the man she introduced me to as her new houseboy… She said it’s just a friend, that the day I came, she saw me from upstairs and decided to call him to come so she can make me feel some pain too… I was so relieved and then ask her why she love me. She said, from the first day she set my eyes on me, I was everything she wanted in a man and the most important thing to her is that I make her laugh. like you literally make me happy even when I am unhappy and I am not willing to trade that for anything… I looked at her in the eyes and told her, baby I am sorry… She said are you sure? with my life I said, she shifted close and we…………….. and…………………………………..
