Some days later I was discharged. and I was told not to stressed myself so as not to cause pain on the stitches beneath my navel.

One morning my husband gets ready for his work and I prepared his breakfast and put it on the dining. I beckons him to come eat, but unlike him he snubbed me moving out of his way heading towards the door. I became confused because I don’t understand why he would do that when is not like we had a misunderstanding.

“darling, why did you just do that. I asked following him as he goes.

No response from him.

“I’m talking to you okomi, why are not going to eat before setting out.

He still didn’t answered. I went to block him from going and he shouted at me.

“do you realize what you are doing Favour! leave my front right away!!!

He pushed me aside and went out in which fell to the floor.

“ha! God! what is happening? he hasn’t reacted to me like this before.

I stood up from the floor and instantly realize what is going on. I dashed towards Adowe room opening it out of anger and told her to pack her load instantly to send her back to Mama. she looked at me in disbelief like am I sure of what I just said.

“you must be joking right? she said laughing egotistically at me standing at my front.

“I’m not joking at this moment Adowe! I think I have had enough of your attitude and attack. at least what you are sent here to do as been done. you took away my 7 month pregnancy!!!

She smirk waving at me like is not a new thing.

“Mama must hear of all this your d*m*nick attack and attitude. I don’t know why she would bring you here to destroy my home.

She instantly bursted into laughter clapping her hands repeatedly.

“so, you actually think Mama would ever believes you. hahaha I think you have just been making a full of yourself.

“wait ooo did you just say that to me Adowe! how can girl of 9 years like you have the gut to talk back at me as if we are age mate, ohhh! I have even forget you’re who you are so…

“stop there! exactly what I wanted to hear. yes! I might be 8years physically, but! I’m more than that in my ancient kingdom.

“woman! see, if you don’t want me to take possession of your husband fully it’s better you don’t cross your limit with me.

I stood there dumbfounded in awe I suddenly went for my phone and dial mama number. as she picked the call I told her about Adowe, that I don’t want her anymore.

“ki lo so? so you mean after killing your own unborn child you are now deciding to send another man child back to me abi.

“Mama what are you saying? I didn’t kill my baby! and must she stays here with me again since I have lost my pregnancy.?
just come and take here back to wherever she came from.

I pleaded as she wasn’t inclining to my saying.

” it’s better you take it or leave it Adowe will be in your home for now!. you can’t come and put me to shame.

“you’re the one that knows what you did that makes you loose that baby! get out from my phone and don’t ever call me again concerning Adowe.

she hangs up on me. I looked at my phone to be sure I just finished speaking with Mama.

“ha!!! aye mi o!!!! there’s fire in the mountain! is as if you have bewitch mama too ooo ha!

Adowe laughed pissed me off and I bet at her that she will regret it.

“what is there for me to regret madam, you have absolutely no right or power over me or else, you’re expecting fire.

she bruised passed me to the sitting room living me to my thinking world.

I went back to my room and sat deciding on what to do but Mama earlier outburst kept ringing back in my head as I imagine if truly if she’s the one that just spoke.

I know mama to be well supportive mother, she has always been there after my late aunty, even when I was believing God for the fruit of the womb she’s always being there for me. I wondered why she suddenly changed because of Adowe even before I had the miscarriage.

“or is there something between Mama and Adowe that I don’t know! hmmm’.
