[STORY] ESTHER MY LANDLORD’S DAUGHTER (Episode 12)

Episode 12.

What if I tell you that I’m ready to become your student, she said.

I could see how relieved Nelly was with what Esther said.

You see Esther and I had a conversation on FB though I never made mention of it.
She told me she’ll like to be tutored by me concerning basically everything that has to do with writing, since she was inspired by one of my work ”2021, my little piece”, that she’ll love to be tutored.

I told her that I can’t tutor her that I want her to be my student, reasons being that if I’m to tutor her, it’ll just be like lecturing her and giving her a few points that’s all, but if she becomes my student, I’ll not only teach her, I’ll guide her through every steps she’ll be taking.

She told me she’ll think about it and also relate it with her parent, since she told them only about being tutored by me.

I ended the conversation, by giving her an assignment to write on a topic “MY DREAM”. And I told her to write it herself then type it.

Wow, this is great, I said, going through her work. I love the concept and the perspective you used in writing, I added.

Thank you, she said.

Your classes starts tomorrow, we begin by 9am and I’ll keep this, I said, taking her work and putting it on my reading table.

I came out and told her that’ll be all and she left.

You know for a moment there, I thought it was something else, Nelly said, after Esther had gone.

Yeah I know, I saw the shock and curiousness in your eyes, I said. But now you it wasn’t what you where thinking, I added.

Yeah, I’m so relieved, goodnight baby, she said, hugging me.

I’ll see you tomorrow, I said before breaking the hug.

She walked the car, ignited 5hw the engine and drove off.

In a little distance, I could see Precious waving at me, I also waved back.

I went back into the house and slumped on my bed. I was in confused state. headquarters room for more stories. What I’m I doing with Esther, what’s with Precious, how will Nelly feel if I tell her I no do again. Do I really love her or I’m Just being friendly because she’s one of my favorite readers, what of Precious or Esther aren’t they my favorite readers too. Oh, I sighed.

I woke up in the morning to hearbloud voices outside, and I ran out without hesitation.

Stop stop, I yelled, seeing Esther with a big wood in her hand, she was about hitting Nelly with the wood.

What’s going on here, I asked, standing in between them.

Tell this b*tch to stay away from you, your my man, Nelly shouted.

Your man, Esther said laughing. Your man, or the one you stole from me, who do you think he met first, b*tch, she added.

It doesn’t matter when who he met first, the truth is he loves me, Nelly said.

He loves you, Esther scoffed. He loves you and he had s_x with me, she asked and Nelly froze in shock.

Esther stop it, I yelled.

Leave me alone, I met you first, we had sex first not untill she came into the picture, she said to me.
And you, she said referring to Nelly, I’m carrying his child, yesterday it wasn’t really about me being his student, I just couldn’t tell him with you around, she said.

You’re what, Nelly asked her, shaking.

You heard me right, Esther yelled.

Is it true, Nelly asked turning to me.

Nelly, we had s_x yes, but i used helmet and it was just once, I explained.

You know what, it’s alright, she said bringing out a gun from the trouser she wore.

Nelly please, I pleaded.

Before I could get to her, she shot at me, I could feel the bullet breaking my skull and passing through my head.
