Rivers United Have Officially Won The NPFL League For 2021/2022
Rivers United have officially won the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) today.
The team was on 71 points 10 more points more than their closest rival Plateau United who had been on a chase with 61 points s going into this week 35 matches.
However a lost today by Plateau united to Akwa United in Uyo 2-1 means Rivers United have been crowned champions within kicking the ball this week. Because plateau united remains at 61 points and have 3 games to go. So even if they win all 3 remaining games at best they will have 70 points. Which means even it River united lose all their own remaining 4 game they still one points ahead of Plateau united.
So give it up for the Worthy champions of the Nigerians league Rivers United who have not kept anyone in doubts of their intentions from start to finish as they were completely dominant this season.
