JOB: Ongoing recruitment at Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB)

The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) is an independent national examinations body that conducts qualitative examinations for Foundation programmes candidates seeking Direct Entry admissions into tertiary institutions.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for the vacant job positions below:


Job Title:
Information Technologist II
Location:
Nigeria
Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a minimum of first degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a recognized institution with a minimum of 2 Class Lower Division plus NYSC discharged Certificate or evidence of exemption.
  • SSCE/GCE O/L with credits in 5 subjects including English Language and Mathematics. Professional Qualification in programming / web development will be an added advantage
  • A minimum of two years post NYSC working experience in a comparable institution or organization. Candidate must be proficient in web development /programming

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants for this position must be computer literate, compliant and proficient in use of Microsoft Office and other relevant applications.

 

Job Title: Information Technologist I

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a minimum of first degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a recognized institution with a minimum of 2 Class Lower Division plus NYSC discharged Certificate or evidence of exemption.
  • SSCE/GCE O/L with credits in 5 subjects including English Language and Mathematics. Professional Qualification in programming / web development will be an added advantage
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience post NYSC working experience in a comparable institution or organization. Candidate must be proficient in web development / programming

Job Title: Confidential Secretary II
Location:

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess ND in Secretariat Studies/Administration, Office Technology and Management or relevant discipline from a recognized institution with a minimum of Lower Credit.
  • SSCE/GCE O/L with credits in 5 subjects including English Language and Mathematics. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office is mandatory.
  • A minimum of three year working experience post ND qualification in a comparable institution or organization.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants for this position must be computer literate, compliant and proficient in use of Microsoft Office and other relevant applications.

 

Job Title: Higher Confidential Secretary
Location:

Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess HND in Secretariat Studies/Administration, Office Technology and Management or relevant discipline from a recognized institution with a minimum of Lower Credit, plus NYSC certificate or evidence of exemption.
  • SSCE/GCE OIL with credits in 5 subjects including English Language and Mathematics. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience post NYSC working experience in a comparable institution or organization.

Job Title: Administrative Officer II

  • SSCE/GCE O/L with Credits in 5 Subjects including Mathematics and English Language.
  • A minimum of one-year post NYSC qualification experience is required.

  • Applicants for this position must be computer literate, compliant and proficient in use of Microsoft Office and other relevant applications.

 

Job Title: Test Officer I

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a first degree from a recognised University in listed subject with a minimum of 2 Class Lower Division.
  • In addition, the candidate must have a Master degree in the following subjects Mathematics, Government, Accounting, Business Studies, Geography, Agricultural-Science. Evidence of NYSC discharged or Exemption certificate is mandatory.
  • SSCE/GCE O/L with Credits in 5 Subjects including Mathematics and English Language.
  • A minimum of three (3) years post NYSC qualification experience in a comparable institution or organisation to JUPEB.

  • Applicants for this position must be computer literate, compliant and proficient in use of Microsoft Office and other relevant applications.

 

Job Title: Assistant Director, Test Development
Location:
Nigeria
Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a first degree from a recognised University in any subject with minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division.
  • In addition, the candidate must have a Master degree in the subject area. However, a Master degree in Test and Measurement will be an added advantage.
  • Applicants must have at least fifteen (15) years post NYSC qualification experience preferably in an institution/organization similar to JUPEB.
  • The desired person must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial position.
  • Evidence of NYSC discharged Certificate or exception certificate. SSCE/GCE O/L with credits in 5 subjects including English Language and Mathematics.

  • Applicants for this position must be computer literate, compliant and proficient in use of Microsoft Office and other relevant applications.
