Episode 17.

” David, but, you said you are a child of God. Remember that you said you loved me . David, please don’t hurt me”

As David moved towards her, she screamed, “Help!”.

Daniel woke up from his dream with sweats on his face. “Ah! Blood of Jesus! I rebuke that over my sister in Jesus name. God, what’s happening to my sister. Jesus take control. And I warned Dammy before she went out”, Daniel said in tear knelt down and started praying deeply in tongues.

“Welcome dear, I have been expecting you. I hope it wasn’t too difficult getting this place?”, David asked as he opened the gate for Dammy .

“It wasn’t too difficult. Besides, all the houses here are numbered accordingly”, Dammy said as she entered into the compound.

“Welcome once again”, David said and gave her a hug. He released her after some minutes and said, “You look beautiful by the way”.

“Thank you”, Dammy said. Suddenly, her phone started ringing. She opened her handbag and picked her phone. After checking who the caller was, she returned the phone to her bag without picking her call.

David asked concernedly, “Who is calling you and why are you not picking the call?

“Actually, it’s my elder brother. It’s possible that he just wanted to check up on me. I’ll talk to him later”, Dammy said. David led Dammy into the house courteously.

They went into the living room, say down and started talking about various things that happened in their class.

“Yes, that’s true. It was very funny then. I couldn’t believe that James could actually prank the teacher”, Dammy laughed out as David reminded her of a funny incident that happened in school.

“Do you also remember when the Principal fell down while going to address the students?”, David said with a great smile on his face.

Dammy broke into uncontrollable laughter. “Yeah, I remember that also. It was really funny. A lot of student made fun of the principal that day, but, they did it quietly so as not to get caught.

“Okay, before the food gets cold, let’s go and eat. I prepared a delicious treat”, David said as he stood up from the sofa he was seating. “Ladies first”, David said with a smile as he stretched his hand towards Dammy to help her stand up.

“Thanks David. You are such a darling. You are too nice”, Dammy said as she placed her palms in David’s palms and stood up .

David led her to the dining table and they both took their seats. David had set the dining table earlier. There were different delicacies on the dining. There was rice and stew, there were also assorted meats and fried plantains. There were also soft drinks and fruit wine.

“This is a wow. You mean you prepared all the food here?”, Dammy asked.

” Of course I did. Anything for my baby. My parents are not always at home, so, I cook most of the time. It wasn’t that difficult in getting all these ready”, David replied.

” I can really see that you are a great cook. The aroma of the food alone can tell the food is delicious. I can’t wait to start eating”, Dammy said.

David smiled and said, ” Before we start eating, let’s say a prayer”.

Dammy nodded affirmatively and David said a little prayer. No sooner, they started eating. They shared a lot of stories and jokes to each other. They laughed numerous times . David fed Dammy and Dammy reciprocated the gesture.

Some minutes later, they were done eating, they both packed the plate and did the dishes together playfully. After doing the dishes, they headed back to the living room and started watching a movie. The movie was funny and made Dammy laugh a lot. She rested her head on David’s shoulder and he was very comfortable with it.

The movie soon ended. Dammy looked into David’s eyes and said, “Today is the best day of my life”.

David looked surprised and asked, ” Really”.

“Yeah”, Dammy replied and her phone started ring again.

“David, I might not be able to stay much longer. My elder brother is calling again, maybe my mum is back home”.

” But, I don’t want you to leave now. This is just two o’clock, your mom can’t be home yet. Sweetheart, please spend more time with me”, David pleaded.

” Okay dear. I’ll stay a little bit longer”,

” That’s my girl”, David said with a smile. He suddenly looked up as if he remembered something. “Dammy, I actually want to show you something in my room”.

” Oh really? What’s that?”, Dammy asked curiously.

” You would find out when we get to my room” David replied as he rose up.

They both walked to David’s room together, hand in hands.

Dammy was totally surprised when she got to the room. David room was extremely beautiful. It had a lot of designs on the wall. David’s pictures also beautified the room. David’s bed was nearly laid and his everything in his room was arranged wonderfully.
On his bed was a note with “I love you, Dammy” written on it.

“Wow, I’m in short of words”, Dammy said.

” I understand. I just wanted to express my love to you”, David said and gave Dammy a hug.

Dammy’s phone started ringing again. “Oh! It’s my brother, I have to go”.

“Dammy, don’t go yet”, David pleaded as he drew Dammy closer to himself and gave a kiss.

And that was it. That spark ignited a fire and they could no longer control themselves. It wasn’t only their lips that was at work, their body was also at work. Dammy knew what she was doing was wrong, but, she couldn’t stop herself. Before she knew it, David had already placed her on the bed. David couldn’t also control himself. Truly, he didn’t have any bad intentions while bringing her to his room, everything just happened.
