Abia: SEMB boss bags suspension from Governor Ikpeazu

Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has approved the immediate suspension of Arch. Lawrence Ogbonna, the Executive Secretary of the Abia Secondary Education Management Board (SEMB).

This was contained in a terse statement issued by the Chief of Staff to the Abia Governor, Dr. Anthony Agbazuere on Tuesday evening.

The reason behind Ogbonna’s suspension was not given in the statement.

According to the Governor, “The suspended Executive Secretary is to handover to the next most senior officer with immediate effect.”
