61-year-old man arraigned for allegedly sucking children’s pen*s in Kano

A Kano State Chief Magistrates’ Court has ordered the remand of a 61-year-old man, identified as Ibrahim Alfa, for allegedly sexually assaulting seven boys between the ages of eight and 10.

The Prosecutor, Insp. Pogu Lale, told the court that one Hassan Sule and four others, reported the case at the Dala Divisional Police Station, Kano. NAN Reports.

He stated that between July 2018 and January 2019, the accused deceived and lured the boys into his shop at Yan Rodi Kofar Ruwa Market, Kano.

“The accused assaulted the boys by sucking their penis one after the other, gave them cassava and groundnut cake.

The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Chief Magistrate, Muhammad Jibril, ordered the remand of the accused in prison custody and adjourned the case until Feb. 28, for mention.

The offence contravened Section 285 of the Penal Code.
