Episode 40.

Longer silence passed as Khalid just stood, staring into space.
Becca was the most impatient; the one who couldn’t wait to hear how the b’tchy would be punished for taking her child away.

“She’ll be punished by 30 whips” he stated and a light mumbling ensued.
Octavia’s eyes dimmed

Oh, good lord!

“Khalid!” Becca shirked, not feeling satisfied at all.

“That’s my final judgement, Becca and nothing can be done to change it” Khalid snapped back at her.

Octavia was almost feeling like choking.

30 whips?? How on earth would she survive that? How? She was definitely going to pass out by the time they’d be done with her.

Becca’s chest was rising and falling heavily due to how angry she felt. She finally decided to gulp it down and accept things as they were.

“I’ll do it” she said with a scrawl. I’ll do the whipping myself”.

If not for how determined Octavia was not to show her weakness, she’d have prolly bursted into tears

But no. She never wanted to give her enemies the satisfaction of seeing her weak.

Khalid looked at Becca and sighed.

“Fine. You can do as you wish” he grunted and took his seat.

The boys knew what was next and immediately, a whip was provided – a long whip with three sides.

Octavia’s legs shook as soon as she saw it; her heart was melting instantly

If Becca doesn’t kill her, then she was going to make sure she never walks for almost a year.

“Bring her here and get her on her feet!” Becca rasped an the boys holding Octavia took her forward immediately.

Mica was watching, but there was nothing she could do. In situations like this that involved the Master’s judgement, there was nothing anyone could do.
Octavia was made to kneel on the floor in front of Becca, her hands resting on the floor as well to give her support.

Becca grunted as she walked closer to her and tore off her shirt, so her skin would be exposed.

She was too angry to notice Octavia wasn’t having any scar on her back. Hell, she didn’t even care at the moment.

She crouched a little and yanked her hair.

“I wish I could kill you” she whispered into Octavia’s ears and released her hair roughly.

Then, getting set, she started the whipping.

Her hand would go high in the air before landing on Octavia’s back with the whip, she was applying so much force; so much pressure.

Mica had to turn around and back her to prevent herself from breaking down.

The sound of whip slashing into flesh could clearly be heard and the force of it actually arouse some mumblings from few of the people in the hall.

She was going to kill her. She was definitely going to kill her.

Octavia’s back was already getting torn with blood splitting out of it and all the while, Khalid only sat quietly, his eyes particularly focused on her back.

As Becca whipped her mercilessly, she felt a little wave of pleasure run through her.

She was getting he payback; even if it wasn’t enough, at least, she was punishing this b’tch in front of everyone!
The monster who killed her child.

Heaven knows how long she’s prayed for a child for Khalid. And when she finally gets it, someone decides to take it away from her? Such a person would never go scott free from her – never.

Octavia’s back was already bleeding profusely,it was completely covered with blood.

The whipping went on for a while, Becca’s arm was beginning to ache her a bit. But she wasn’t going to stop. Never!

“That’s 30” Khalid’s cold voice came and she stopped immediately, breathing heavily.

Damn! She wasn’t even keeping count. And why did he have to keep count?

She twisted her lips and glared hard at the kneeling Octavia in front of her, who’s back was completely covered in blood.

Hmm. She loved the sight she saw.

Yes, definitely. She loved it.

Immediately, Mica ran to Octavia on the floor, her eyes almost glistening.

She found it a miracle that Octavia was still consious and hadn’t pass out.

“Leo’s not permitted to heal her. Nobody should” Khalid gave a cold warning which made Becca smile from her chest.

Oh yes!! He was doing exactly what he wanted. Yes!

Her angry heart was beginning to keep calm a bit. At least, this b’tch was going to moan in excruciating pains for a very long time.

Mica lifted Octavia from the floor immediately and with her hands wrapped around her waist, she started supporting her out of the room.

Blood dripped to the floor as they walked along, all eyes staring at them.

Mica was pained, more than she had been during the time of Moscow.

It hurt her to see her sister suffering so much and being treated like an animal in front of everyone. The hell, she could hardly survive it.

Octavia didn’t utter a word but just walked along with her sister because she was confused.

Yes, she was confused.

They finally got to the room and Mica sniffed as she placed her on the bed.

“Octavia…” She called ruefully, feeling so hurt by the sight in front of her.
She could hardly believe that was her sister’s back.

“I warned you not to stay here. I warned you, didn’t I?” Her voice was cracked up.
“Take a look at what you’ve done”

Octavia could hardly pay attention to her as she tried to understand what was going on.

And Mica…at a point… was confused as well. Why wasn’t she wincing in pain yet? She hadn’t even made a sound.

Octavia took her hand to her back and touched it, then brought it right to her face.

There was indeed blood on it.

“Am I…really bleeding?” She asked, looking at the blood stained hand.

Mica was befogged. Was that even a question? Or has the whipping finally affected her sister’s mentality?

“I can’t…feel anything, Mica” she said.
“I didn’t feel any pain”.
