2022/2023 Ignatius Ajuru University Postgraduate Admission Announced
The Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE), School of Postgraduate Studies, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the various Postgraduate programmes offered by the institution for the 2022/2023 academic session on a FULL-TIME, PART-TIME and LONG VACATIONS basis.
IAUE Postgraduate Programmes leads to the award of PGD, PDDE, PGDE, MA, MEd, MSc, & PhD.
Persons who are awaiting NYSC discharge certificates could apply.
Admission Requirements & Duration
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1.Postgraduate Diplomas (PGD/PGDE): First degree from any recognized University with a minimum pass of third class honors/HND.
2.Post Doctorate Diploma in Education (PDDE): Doctorate Degree from any recognised University.
3.Master’s Degree (MA, MEd, MSc, MA Ed & MSc Ed): First degree (not lower than second class honours).
4. Doctorate Degree (PhD): Master’s degree (Minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 5.0 Scale) or a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 5.0 scale for MPhil/PhD Admission).
MINIMUM DURATION OF THE PROGRAMMES:
PGD & PGDE Programmes: 12 calendar months
PDDE Programme: 4 Calendar months (Accelerated programme)
MA, MEd & MSc Programmes: 12 calendar months
PhD Programme: 24 calendar months, 6 semesters or 3 long vacations.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates are to complete the registration form online after successful payment of Registration fees of N25, 600.00 and Purchase of Brochure fee of N5, 600.00.
All fees are paid Online using either ATM Card or via Interswitch Pay Direct at any bank with invoice generated from your Registration account.
Follow the procedure below for both online payment and registration for the programmes:
- Visit the University website www.iauoe.edu.ng
- Click on Postgraduate School on the menu.
- On the Postgraduate School web page, click on Register for 2021/2022 Postgraduate Programmes.
- A page appears; enter the following information:
– Full Name
– Phone Number
– E-mail Address
Then click Register
- An SMS containing your login details will be sent to you. Also, your login details will be displayed on the page for you to copy and take note.
- Click on login and enter your username and password sent to your phone.
- You will be prompted to change your password. Save your new password.
- From the menu on the left, click on Fees Payment.
- Select Session from session drop down.
To pay for Registration Fee:
* From Payment Description dropdown, select Registration Fee (PG School) – 2021/2022
* Click on Pay button and then click on Generate Invoice below.
* Confirm your invoice and click on proceed to pay.
* You may pay with your ATM Card or print out the invoice and proceed to any bank with it to pay via Interswitch Pay Direct.
11. To pay for Brochure:
* From Payment Description drop down select Brochure Fee (PG School) – 2021/2022
* Click on Pay button and then click on Generate Invoice below.
* Confirm your invoice and click on proceed to pay.
* You may pay with your ATM Card or print out the invoice and proceed to any bank with it to pay via Interswitch Pay Direct.
12. After successful payment of Registration and Brochure fees, login and click on the Update Registration Form menu on the left.
13. You may download the softcopy of the Brochure (From the menu on the left) for detailed information about the programmes. Hard copy is available for collection at the Postgraduate School.
14. Update ALL FIELDS on your Registration Form (upload your passport photo and copies of your credentials) and Submit.
15. Print out your Registration Form and Payment Receipt.
16. Logout.
