Adaeze – Genevieve Nnaji

Adaeze Obiagu, also known as Adaeze is a main character in Lion Heart. She played role of Cheif Ernest Obiagu’s daughter.
She wants to substitute for her father, when he can no longer run his company due to health issues. Her father however asks his brother Godswill to take over instead. At first, Adaeze didn’t seems to agree with idea, but later succumb to the idea after when her mom scolded her. Godswill and Adaeze had to work hard together to save the company from a huge debt and to not lose the company to the businessman Igwe Pascal. Of course, with the help of third party, they succeeded in bringing back the company and escaped going bankrupt. This of course earned her the aspired position of taking over the position of her father.

Adaeze, her real name is Geneveive Nnaji is a Nigerian actress, producer and director. She was born on May 3rd 1979. She won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2005, making her the first actress to win the award. In 2011, she was honoured as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic by the Nigerian government for her contribution to Nollywood.

Genevieve Nnaji started her acting career as a child actress in the then popular television soap opera Ripples at the age of 8. In 1998 at the age of 19 she was introduced into the growing Nigerian film industry with the movie “Most Wanted”. Her subsequent movies include Last Party, Mark of the Beast and Ijele. In 2010 she starred in the award-winning film Ijé: The Journey. She has starred in over 80 Nollywood movies.

She became the first actress to be awarded Best Actress at the 2001 City Peoples Awards, the award ceremony that previously had only recognized politicians and business conglomerates. She was also the first actress to be awarded as Best Actress by the Censors Board of Nigeria in 2003. In 2009, she was referred to as the Julia Roberts of Africa by Oprah Winfrey.

Godswill Obiagu – Nkem Owoh

Godswill Obiagu is also a main character in Lion Heart. He played role of Cheif Ernest Obiagu’s brother, an uncle to Adaeze.
He was substituted for Adaeze’s father when he can no longer run his company due to health issues. His comic roles and change of plan keep it going cool. Imagine getting to work early in the morning only to see someone doing morning devotion in your office! This man did it! (prounce) LOL right?

Godswill Obiagu, His real name is Nkem Owoh, a Nigerian actor and comedian. In 2008 he won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.

Nkem Owoh was born in Enugu State, Nigeria. After his primary and secondary school he headed to the University of Ilorin and studied engineering. Already, during his university studies, he began acting in various television and film productions.

Nkem Owoh featured in the 2003 film Osuofia in London. He is also known for performing the song “I Go Chop Your Dollar” about advance fee fraud.

Cheif Ernest Obiagu – Pete Edochie

Cheif Ernest Obiagu is another main character in Lion Heart movie. He play role of Adaeze’s father and a elder brother to Godswill. Married to Abigail two kids. Adaeze the daughter, while Obiora the son.
In the second scene, he fell sick. Due to the status of his health, he had to invite his brother to manage the company for him along with his daughter, Adaeze.

Cheif Ernest Obiagu, real name – Pete Edochie is a Nigerian actor. Born on 7th Of March 1947. Pete Edochie is considered one of Africa’s most talented actors, being honoured with an Industry Merit Award by Africa Magic and Lifetime Achievement by Africa Film Academy. He came into limelight in the 1980s when he played the lead role of Okonkwo in an NTA adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s all-time best selling novel, Things Fall Apart.

Abigail Obiagu – Onyeka Onwenu

Abigail Obiagu is also a main character in Lion Heart. She is the wife of Ernest Obiagu. She is the mother of Adaeze and Obiora. Her real name is Onyeka Onwenu is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, actress, human right activist, social activist, journalist, politician, recording artist and X Factor series judge. She was born on May 17th 1952.

Igwe Pascal – Kanayo O. Kanayo

Igwe Pascal hold a prominence role in Lion Heart movie. He is the owner of IG motors. He offers a bid to Lion Heart Motors to buy off their company during the challenges period.

His real name is Anayo Modestus Onyekwere but popularly referred to as Kanayo O. Kanayo. Kanayo O is a Nigerian actor, born on March 1st, 1962 in Imo State, Nigeria.
He won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 2006.

Chioma Obiagu – Ngozi Ezeonu (Wife of Godswill)

Chioma Obiagu plays role of Godswill Obiagu’s wife in Lion Heart movie.
Her real name is Ngozi Ezeonu is a Nigerian actress born on 23rd of May 1965.

Samuel Aka – Kalu Ikeagwu (Third in command)

Samuel Aka is another actor in Lion Heart movie. He plays role of third in command in Lion Heart motors company. He happens to be a bad egg willing to do whatever it takes to achieve Igwe Pascal’s dream of buying off Lion Heart motors. His real name is Kalu Ikeagwu, a British-Nigerian actor and writer. He was born in England but was relocated to Nigeria by his dad at the age of 9 due to fears from his parents that he might abandon his Igbo roots. He had his primary education in England and Zambia before proceeding to University of Nigeria to get a degree in English.

Obiora – Chibuzo Azubike ‘PHYNO’ (Son Of Obiagu)

Obiora, Adaeze sibling, son of Obiagu. Obiora acts role of a recording artist.
His real name is Chibuzo Azubike popularly known as PHYNO. He is Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer.
He started his musical career as a producer in 2003. He is renowned for rapping in the Igbo language.

Onyiye – Jemima Osunde

Onyiye plays role of Adaeze office assistant. She can talk for Africa! Well, she’s smart ain’t it? Her real name is Jemima Osunde, she is a Nigerian actress, model and presenter.

Arinze – Peter Okoye

Arinze acts as a chop-life and a bad guy who doesn’t care about tomorrow. Do you think he was tryna poison Adaeze’s drink so as to take advantage of her body? Well, your guess is good as ours! **winks**. Arinze! His real name is Peter Okoye popularly known as Mr P. He is half brother of Paul Okoye. He was born on 18th November 1981.

Alhaji Danladi Maikano – Sani Mua’zu

Alhaji Danladi Maikano plays role of Danladi Maikano transportation service owner. His real name is Sani Mua’zu.

Hamza Maikano – Yakubu Mohammed

Hamza Maikano plays role of Alhaji Danladi Maikano’s son. His real name is Yakubu Mohammed
