ABSU Announces Mid-Semester Break for All Students

The Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of the University Authorities, has approved a Mid-Semester Break for all students to vacate the University Campuses from Monday, 11th February to Tuesday 5th March, 2019, to enable the University embark on major repairs across the Campuses, especially at Igwi River, the main source of water supply to the University which has broken down.

You may remember that during the last time, we experienced some technical difficulties. But we held out, and continue to move forward. And now we really need your help. This is to avoid acute shortage of water on Campus and consequent environmental degradation.

Students are given up to Tuesday 12th February, 2019, to vacate the University Campuses.

There will be no lecturer during this break period. All students are required to return to their Campuses on Tuesday, 5th March, 2019, when normal Academic activities will resume.

Students, Parents, Guardians, Sponsors and Stakeholders of the University are advised to be properly guided.
